I looked on youtube and saw people just running up & down and still find shinies first try how is that possible. to check out go to

    https://www.youtube.com
type in shiny ponyta( just do it because it is the only one i know)
click on one that says Shiny Ponyta+ shiny patch

I can't find the video you're on about. But my guess is that this person has a cheat on/hacked into the game so that all their Pokemon are shinys. Thats all I can think of. But yeah. I think that that could be why. I don't suggest hacking/cheating either. It can mess up your game ;)

It can't be they tried once it ddn't work then the next time so yea

sigh! its called chaining! you use the oekradar to get a chain of pokemn (means get that pokemon many times in a row) then after a chain of 40, you can reset for a shiny patch. thats what he did. he reset, then when he saw a shiny patch he started recording. dont think jst because you see a shiny on video that they cheated.

look up a gide on how to chain if you want to chain.

huh I know chaining but how do you reset it

oh by using the radar again. u just use it once you find 40 of the same pokemon

ex: the video uses ponyta. after he gets a chain of forty, he resets the radar and uses repels(when they run out) until he finds a shiny patch

Look, from the description I was given, and I couldn't see the video, I assumed it was cheating, because of what I was told, and my interpretation of it. I thought he meant that this person was finding multiple shinies without any normal pokes in between :(

I am sorry for reading it wrong. Ooopsies...

Interesting concept, this "chaining", but too involved for me. That Shiny Ponyta IS pretty, though...

so pretty... and soft... warm... truly... love it!
