4th Gen shiny questions

Is there any easy way to breed shinys? (i.e. does one or both parents being shiny help?)
Is the shininess of a poke in an egg determinded when it's layed, picked up, or hatched.

Breeding with shinies does not increase the chance of getting one.
What's in the egg (male or female, shiny or not,etc.) is determined when you receive it from the breeding center.

The chance of a shiny cannot be modified without cheat codes. Shiny parents, items, game progress, etc, none of it will change your chances of getting a shiny, whether it's hatched or caught in the wild. Your chances of a shiny are always 0.0001220703125% (1 in 8192).

You should be able to have a better chance of getting a shiny when you breed a shiny with a normal pokemon or with both shinies but sadly that doesnt happen in this game. genes from your parents are passed down to you.
