3rd Gen Shiny Raquayza

Guess what all? I was at the point in the game where you catch Raquayza and I had just flipped the power off and then back on because I knew at that point I couldn't catch him. When I turned it back on he was shiny! Well at this point I had never even seen a shiny period. So of course I had to catch him. So I caught him. I just find it highly ironic that my first shiny is a legendary.

Now that is real luck! I've come to the conclusion that, unless you've got hours and hours to spare and can devote yourself to hunting, luck like this is about the only way you can get a shiny... that and hours and hours of ordinary play

Yeah that surely is good luck. I have 549 playtime in my Ruby and I haven?t seen any shinies...

Trust me I know exactly how lucky I am. The ironic part of it is is that it was only my third time trying catch him. So it's not like I devoted hours and hours to finding a shiny. I'm still astounded by my great bout of luck.
