4th Gen Ships in Pastoria City

    If you go to Pastoria City, and surf right in the city, there are 2 ships just sitting there, and you cant do anything to it.

    Why are they there?

    Also when you are at the "Continue" menu, does anyone notice that the WiFi goes on for about 3 seconds then goes off? Why?

    The ships that're standing around are nothing more than decoration to make the city look a bit more lifely.
    You can't do anything with them.

    That WiFi check is probably used to see if there is a transfer coming in from Pokémon Ranger, so you can obtain the Manaphy egg. Could be wrong there though.
     
    Plus they're there to prevent you from surfing out into Pokemon Diamond/Pearl: empty space land. Unfortunetly in Sinnoh there aren't water routes that really connect all the cities/areas so they block you in in some places. I think they have those ships somewhere else too.
     
    The ships do nothing they are there so u can't surf out of the city
     
    they are just there for show and blockades u to go out. Nothing more but cheap boundaries.
