Should I... or shouldn't I? Sure, I will upgrade!

Lately I'm considering that I will upgrade my newest laptop, which have Windows 8 as the operating system, into Windows 8.1, but I'm not sure because of pros and cons that I found on the net. Not just that, I seldom upgrading my Windows before, because the problems that I have when I'm upgrading my XP into Service Pack 3, which makes the video capturing quite hard, considering my PC's components are impossible to upgrade now.

And yet I heard good things when using Windows 8.1, like a potential return of Start menu function like it used to, and Metro apps can run alongside desktop ones, so I tried to upgrade once. However, the first time I do it, I cancelled it because I was reading the cons of upgrading.

But today, I decided to give updating another try. I hope my laptop will still running smoothly, so that I'm able to go into Windows 8.1 Update 1 or 2 in no time.

this is a big step for you you need to think about this long and hard this is a major upgrade!!!
