Should I shiny hunt Legends?

    Should I shiny hunt legends in Ultra Wormhole?

    I don't know if its increased, I know you have a 36% chance in type 4 to find shiny normal Pokemon, but does it apply on legends?
    It took aDrive 800 soft resets to get shiny Xerneas.

    the increased shiny chance does not apply to Legendary Pokemon in the the ultra wormhole as far as im aware.

    Yes. This does work on Legendary Pokemon and is the main reason why people are using Ultra Wormholes, to get Shiny Legends and Ultra Beasts.

    The Shiny Charm also stack with these chances. Also just because it is a high percentage, you still have to calculate that into the total so a 36% only makes it a 1 in 2621 chance without the Shiny Charm. So it is still a pretty low chance.


    And yes it does apply to Legendary Pokemon. You can look on youtube at poke tubers and see that. But the chance applies to that portal so Legends are also effected.

    i disagree, shininess regarding wormhole pokemon is determined at landing if the odds also included legendary pokemon you would not have to soft reset for shiny legendary pokemon instead it would be nearly impossible to do so

    The increased shiny rate only applies to non-ledendary Pokemon.

    Legendaries can be soft reset, but they have the regular odds of being shiny.
