3rd Gen Should the have extended FR LG?

    Just wondering in FR and LG should the have added more ares maybe more creative ones other than the Sevii Islands? Like Idk maybe the orange Islands
    In my opinion the game went by to fast it just didn't have the same strength as the originals. But it was really fun i have to give it that!
     
    Well, you have to remember that you were much younger when you played the originals. What might have seemed difficult then, is no longer difficult to you now.

    I thought that Fire Red and Leaf Green were plenty long enough.
    At least they added in extra material, instead of just releasing an absolute remake.
    I don't know, I rather liked the Sevii Islands. It gave Kanto a new feel. The Orange Islands would have been alright, however.
     
    yeah i never thought about it like that. Yeah FR and LG were easy now that i think about it.
     
    Well, I was really hoping to see johto... As it is my favorite region :3

    But saddly, I never could get there lol (cause its not in the game XD)
     
    It would of pleased me if they had one final boss battle at the end. Like fighting Red in GSC.

    Although I would admit round 2 in the E4 was nice, but it seemed too easy still.

    Maybe like one trainer, who had POKéMON in high 80's, low 90's would of been good.

    That way, it would make you want to keep playing the game, until you could beat him.
     
    As a remake of R/B/G, it already is expanded with the Sevii Islands. I do think it'd be nice if the islands had more places to go though... like caves that can only be gotten to via surf.
    You say they could've done something more creative, but the Orange Islands already existed so putting those in the game would actually classify as being less creative.

    yeah thats true. Well by Orange Islands I sorta meant the tourny's they had there.

    You mean like ice carving and bobsledding minigames? Or battling against Starmies that know Thunderbolt and throwing Exeggutors off cliffs only to eventually save them?

    Well, I think FR/LG was fine with the Sevii Islands, I just wish that you could do more on the islands; that they'd have more of a plot. But I'm fine with the way it is- the whole Fix-the-Network-Machine buisness and the Trainer Tower are enough to keep me occupied.
     
    Well actually, I bought only Leafgreen as my veryfirst pokemon game then Firred and the sapphire and then ruby. I lost the first three. So LEafgreen was ffreaking Hard....

    I still keep it's cover with my best friend...
     
    I would have preferred it if there was more to actually do on the Sevii Islands instead of a new area.
     
    FR and LG were long enough on their own if you ask me. I think they had an interesting plot, as well as a more challenging quest to catch Mewtwo.
     
    They should add...
    The moving animation(like the one on Emerald version.).
    Some weather effect on some city.(It's too boring, when there ain't no weather effects...)
    Re-battling Gym Leaders.
    Pokemon Contest.(More Ribbons)
    Able seeing the Ribbon.
    That's what I'm asking... The FRLG would be almost perfect if they add these things... I wish someone could hack FRLG for me with these features...
     
    I think adding the Sevii Islands was good enough. It was suppose to be a remake right?. People should just be happy that they added those islands into the game
