Should there be a special/physical variant of certain items/abilities?

It would be interesting to see the impact on competitive Pokemon. Honestly, either one could allow for some pretty iron clad walls, as you could run Intimidate + physical AV (or vice versa) and end up with some excellent switch-ins to key offensive threats. Landorus-T's counterplay to the VoltTurn strategy would reach nosebleed heights. I think that it would be cool to see the specially-based Intimidate on something like Cradily (not sure if this is included in current gen? I think no?). It is already pretty impressive in the Sand in lower tiers, and this would make it one of the best switch-ins to special moves in its respective tier with the Sand up.
