I think that Volkner should get his own spin-off show. Volkner is very attractive and so a spin-off featuring him is an attractive prospect.

It would be called Love and Pokemon.

The premise: "Love and Pokemon" is set in an alternative timeline where Team Aqua achieved their goal of using Kyogre's power to flood the Earth. Two thirds of the world's land surface was lost under the ocean, along with countless towns and cities. Two years after that fateful day, the world has descended into chaos. Homelessness is a severe problem due to all of the homes that were lost in the flood, and there isn't enough land to build enough new houses for people. There also isn't enough land for farming, so food is scarce. Criminal activity is rife, as people will do anything to survive.

In the midst of all this chaos is Volkner. Volkner lost all of his friends and family to raiders, but he still believes he has a future. He is holding on to his one remaining dream: a promise that he made to his childhood sweetheart before they were cruelly seperated, that they would meet up together on top of Olivine Lighthouse when they both came of age. The date upon which they promised to meet is now quickly approaching, and Volkner intends to keep his promise, for it is the only dream he has left in this world.

Volkner and his Pokemon companions must cross the wilderness of death and travel to Olivine Lighthouse, so that he might meet his sweetheart once more before world's end.

What do you think of this idea?

Episode 1 The Promise: Spurred on by memories of a childhood promise, Volkner flees the city of Sunyshore and sets out on his journey.

Episode 2 Faith: Hearthome has become a city of religious devotees, who worship "The Great Healer": a man who claims to be Arceus made flesh. The Great Healer has promised that he can save the world, but is this religion merely a lie?

Episode 3 Underworld: Volkner is injured in a motorcycle accident, but he is nursed back to health by a girl named Lucy. Lucy works in a refuge for homeless children, but recently she has been worried about rumors that children are disappearing from the streets. What's more, the Little Treats meat company has recently found a new supplier...

Episode 4 Human Nature: Volkner takes a ferry to the Kanto region, but the ferry breaks down in the middle of the ocean. Fear sets in among the passengers as a ghostly fog surrounds the boat. The spirits of the water Pokemon will pit the passengers against one another, and test human nature to the limit.

Episode 5 The Game: With no money and little hope of a future, lost souls turn to "The Game" as a final resort. "The Game" is a reality TV show funded by the upper classes, as a source of amusement in an otherwise bleak world. "The Game" pits combatants against one another in a fight to the death, with the winner receiving a cash prize. Volkner finds out that Lucy has entered the game, and sets out to save her. (She dies though.)

    Episode 6
Vengeance: Volkner comes face to face with the raiders who killed his friends and family. Can he bring himself to exact revenge?

Episode 7 and 8 Dancers at the End of Time: There is a light shining from the top of Olivine lighthouse. Has Volkner finally found his true love?

Why don't you just write a fanfic if you really want this?

Im with emzstar on this one, it seems you thought about it.. go write about it! :D

I think if Volkner left Sunnyshore city when he was 10 and showed his rise to become a Leader would be pretty cool

You're missing the point! I can't fantasize about ten year-old Volkner! ...Or can I?

    *thinks about it*

    No, no I can't.

Anyway, the point of this series would be to address the teenage audience with its sexy protagonist. This is the mature Pokemon series which fans all seem to want.

As much as I would've loved to have a more mature anime, I think it's far too late for anyone to take it seriously, even with a brand new series.

Yeah since they probably aren't going to do that, you should write a Fan Fic on it, it would be great :]
Anyway back on point, I think it would be cool to see another character get there own spin-off show but personally if I had to choose someone to have a spin-off show of there own then it has to be Gary ;)
