We totally, as a graphics community, need to start designing skateboards.

How's it spam...? I'm making a subject, in the correct forum, to discuss a part of graphic design. Also, to showcase different skateboard designs, and have a place where they're all in one topic.

In case you didn't realize, the link at the top is the first skateboard design, something I just whipped up, after finding that awesome website that makes boards I referenced.

I don't even skate, but dude, it'd be sick to have your own custom skateboard you designed, right?

Just a previous forum I was on was EXTREMELY strict about EVERYTHING. Be it off site links and what not. They banned people for two weeks for posting an unapproved link. Glad I am here though. :P

I know, this is an awesome forum. It's got it's fair share of retarded staff in the ROM Hacking forum, in my opinion, and we've had our little spats here and there, but the graphics forum I have no quandary with! The staff is excellent, strict when need be, but usually fairly leze-fair. In a good way.

We could start a fund raiser for the website! Design skateboards, sell them for $15 more than the base price, and donate it to PC.

I love the idea, and I'd be glad to help out. I actually skateboarded up until I broke my back, but like you said, just because I can't skate doesn't mean I can't design. ;)

Oh that kinda reminds me of threadless… a t-shirt design thingy…
I'm not really into skateboards any more… but love the designs that are usually on them. The custom made ones.
I'm not good enough to want my work spread everywhere.
