I have no idea how to start a discussion, lol. I guess just tell me what ideas y'all had. I'll throw in some more thoughts when I hear what you guys have to say. Just woke up, so my brain juice isn't really flowing yet, haha. I'm aware I suck at organizing, okay.

Well i was thinking we could throw in some themes once in a while and like a picture finding contest were you have to find pictures on the internet coresponding to a theme.

World happenings seem okay as long as it's not politics and homosexuality and stuff. Not everyone agrees on that. Music seems alright, cept for those people that don't listen to music...but yeah. Both seem okay, given the right limitations.

Speaking of limitations, some people don't mind swearing and some don't. Are we going to put a bar on the swearing? Personally, I don't care if people do, but some people have their computers around where there are more than just them, so I'm not sure. Maybe just not dropping any f-bombs, or we could just go with not saying whatever is *'d out on PC.

@Sora's Nobody: Sounds good to me. C:

@Sydian. about the swearing, i really dont mind if people swear or not, i mean (i think this is what you were saying) we can just say that they cant swear about people on pc or things about pc.

It's not really swearing about PC, I just mean...there are some members that are younger on here. I'm sure they've heard the words before, but we can't assume that for everyone. And like I said, some people have others in the same room as them.

Impersonations sound great. You can all hear my George Bush impression...and my Navi voice. It's fantastic.

WTF lol, yeah voice inpersonation would be a great game to play over skype lol.... wait are we gonna have mic on during the manifesto?

Hunh, I'm one of "the young people". And I really don't mind about swearing, it's common where I live.
On the topic ... I think the impersonations sound great. I can show you my Obama voice when I'm just 11.
Or not :P . I'm still thinking wheter I'll be allowed to chat with my laptop [in english] or not. It depends.

Nice theme, 560. But on that note about swearing, not everyone comes from a country or a home where swearing is commonly used. I wasn't raised with a lot of swearing. idk, we'll wait and see what the other organizers for this think.

And since it's a Skype manifesto, I would assume the mics are on? Haha. I personally don't want people seeing me, so I hope you weren't thinking this was just web cam and/or IMing. XD

I wasnt even thinking about webcam and i dont want webcam either.

EDIT: also we have to bear in mind that the maximum of people in one conference call on skype is 25 people.

What if we had multiple Skype conference calls with each one about different topics? One could be about the upcoming Generation 5 games, one for general chat, one for games and contests, etc. They could all be posted on the website so that people could connect to them.

If we're going to talk about Gen V, I'm leaving the conversation since I've been avoiding spoilers. I don't know if anyone else has been doing that though, and it's not as serious a matter as swearing.

Sorry for the late arrival, but I'll just put in my two cents.

The first two days of the manifesto should be dedicated to allowing Gen V discussion with all out spoilers. The last two days will have a Gen V spoiler rule enforced, in respect to the normal watchers. Under penalty of being kicked or other PC consequences.

I think a good running time is two hours. Different times each day to attempt getting people from around the world. We can run twice each day.

Swearing is allowed at a moderate usage as long as there is no flaming directed at anyone.

Oh, also for the first mention, I MIGHT have a plan for one day of the weekend, more than likely after 5 PM CDT one of the days, so I may not have full attendance one day.

Alright then, count me out on the gen V days. ._. Haha.

Well no matter how much of a "theme" we have, it's gonna go off topic. So long as the hosts aren't too strict with what topic we're no (as long as it's not profane of course) then I feel it should flow. Though I think there should be a few different intervals as to when it is on or at least across a wide range of time to ensure it suits all time zones.

In my opinion, you guys shouldn't be strict about a theme. You could start chatting about Munna (a gen V Pokemon, Sydian, you'd have no idea who he is ._.) and then someone would talk about his possibility to have been introduced into gen IV.

Later, someone else mentions Shellos/Gastrodon which had to be Gen III Pokemon and the chat will move to RSE Pokemon. It varies, see ! <3

The time is nearing. WE need to get our gear together. First we need to know each others accounts, and we have to set and wrtie down some themes ect...

Last year it was plain themeless madness, so I'd go with the spoiler free last two days and spoilerful first two days. We don't need an exact theme, just those two clauses.

^ Agreed. Also, we should probably all get each other's Skype names since we're running this event. I'm SilverQuilava, so make sure you add that one, guys. I already have Gavin's.

Alright. For this year I have AdvancedK47 as my Skype username.

Last Year I didn't enter cause I didn't have skype but now I do (Since the another forum I go to conned me into it XD. But my skype is zappyspiker
