    ok...I gave up on sceptile...
Anyway I bread my slakoth with a torkoal
so it would get curse and body slam

    here's what I got

    Slakoth - "Moog"
    Lv.16
    (female)
    -Naughty-
    Encore
    Bulk Up
    Slack Off
    Body Slam

I was thinking since it's nature will boost it's attack mostly
that I would use the following for when it evolves into a slaking

    Slaking
    @ Left Overs
    Attract
    Slack Off
    Body Slam
    Shadow Ball

that is assuming it can learn shadow ball from the TM
Anyway, yeah that's what I was thinking of for the final move set
I was also considering these moves to replace attract

    Rest
    Slack Off
    Encore

but I like attract 'cuz it's female and well because of the truant ability
I need to lower the chances the opponent has of hitting my Slaking
    while it's loafing around

here's some thoughts I had to replace shadow ball if it can't learn it

    Earthquake
    Brick Break
Rock Slide (can it learn it through breeding???)

I'd probably prefer a move like rock slide or ancient power but I don't know
if it can learn them from breeding , and I think the only normal pokemon that
can learn that is snorlax who isn't available in ruby/sapphire but yeah
    so...HELP!!!

Slaking with curse = suiciding... remember that for every 2 turns they move, you only move one. Moves like Slack off are really only healing you 1/4 of your hp (1/2 divided by 2 because of the 2 turn thing)

    Slaking- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers/choice band
    EV: Atk and some spd/hp
    -hyper beam
    -shadowball
    -earthquake
    -fire blast/fury swipes

Hyperbeam is EXCELLENT (the only time that hyperbeam is used) for Slaking. You'll miss a turn anyway, so why not go for a super powered attack with STAB?

Earthquake and shadowball are used to hit different types, self explanitory.

Fire blast can be used for anti-skarmory. Fury Swipes (i'm not kidding) can be used to destroy substitute users. Sub and protect are slaking's worst enemy. You may want to "try out" fury swipes to see if it's enough to break a sub.
