Since the spoiler for EX Emerald has come out, there have been some interesting changes to this deck, and I feel it is now more fun to play than ever before!!

    Pokemon (26):
    4 Lotad (Rain Dish)
    4 Lombre (Rain Dish)
    3 Ludiculo (Swing Dance)
    1 Ludiculo (Happy Dance)
    2 Slugma
    2 Magcargo (Smooth Over)
    2 Onix (SS)
    2 Dk Steelix
    4 Dunsparce
    2 Jirachi (HL)

    Trainers (18):
    4 Swoop! Teleporter
    4 TV Reporter
    4 Battle Frontier
    2 POR
    2 Rocket's Poke Ball
    1 Pokemon Retriever
    1 Crystal Shard

    Energy (16):
    4 Dark
    4 Metal
    4 Rainbow
    4 R

    Battle Frontier
    Trainer - Stadium
Each player's [C] evolved Pokemon, [D] evolved Pokemon, and [M] evolved Pokemon cannot use Poke-POWERs or Poke-BODYs.

Same strategy, but now has a counter to Pidgeot and DragTrode. Mass on Dark Steelix, and layith the smackith down for 100 damage a turn and reduce all damage done to him by 50 (4 Metal and Happy Dance). Ludiculo also makes for a solid backup hitter when Dk Steel isn't there, dealing a steady 30 with healing or at least 50, more than likely 90+.

The only real problem with this thing is not starting with Dunsparce. If Dunsparce doesn't come out first turn, there is no way for this deck to recover. That's why I try to force the issue with 4 Dunsparce and 4 Swoop! The Dunsparce become TV fodder once they are used up, and the Swoops are very useful in the late game to get exactly the Basic that I need out. Jirachi is there for a 2nd turn evolution with a Swoop! to discard the Dunsparce, but the first turn Sparce is the key to this deck. Without that, the deck does not survive, period.

After extensive playtesting and a couple of shots, I found out that 4 Ludiculos is overdoing it just a little bit. Based on that, I modified the deck as follows...

    -1 Lotad
    -1 Lombre
    -1 Ludiculo (Swing)
    +2 Island Cave
    +1 Scramble Energy

Makes the deck more resiliant and much easier to combat the status decks that are becoming more rampant in my area, as well as Vileplume ex, which partially shuts down this deck.
