4th Gen So about leveling up moves and battle..

Since I'm gettin Diamond next week, I've been preparing on which pokemon I'm catching to be part of my main party.

As my water type, I'm choosin Octillery, I saw that one of its moves it can learn is called Gunk Shot but its marked as the first level up move and marked "-" meaning no level. So my question is that do I have to catch an octillery that has that move, or cheat in making octillery appear at a low level/hatch? Because I wanted to catch a Remoraid and raise it.

Also, did they bring back the match call or add a poketch feature in which you can battle certain trainers you've met on your journey?

1) You can go to the move relearner.
He should be able to teach Octillery that move in exchange for heart scales.

2) Yes, there is a VS seeker in the game, it's not part of the Pokétch but separate item.

I thought you were talking about those Secret Base things for a minute. Those were the biggest waste of time I've ever had to lay my eye balls on >.>

But none the less, YES what my headache up there said. There is a VS seeker later on. Dont know whem though, this may be a a topic worth of Google searching.... Its very exiting to have a talking headache you know. Not only that, its a VIRTUAL one o.o
