I haven't watched an episode of Pokemin in years now, but lately I have been intrerested once again in the games. Anyway, I have no idea about these 3 games, so just want to know what's in them
How many Pokemon are in it?
Is there a new place other than Kanto and Johto? Are Kanto and Johto even in it? If there is a new place, is that where you begin your journey?
Are the graphics worse/better than the Leaf Green/Fire Red versions? (I've only seen screensots of them and I like those graphics).
    How many badges are there?
Do you battle the Elite 4 at Indigo Plateu and then your rival?
Do team Rocket appear in it?
Are the legendary dogs running around like in Gold/Sivler? (after you spot them in that tower)
Is there a new proffessor other than Oak and Elm?
What is different from Emerald to the other 2 games?

    1. The data for all 386 Pokemon are in RSE, but that doesn't you can actually mean capture all of them in just RSE by themselves. Some need to be traded over from FRLG.

    2. The entire game is in the Hoenn region. Kanto and Johto are NOT in these versions. They are not in any other version other than GSC. Quit asking.

    3. They're equal. The font size in RSE is bigger though.

    4. Eight badges.

    5. No. You battle the Elite Four and then Steven Stone. Your rival is either May or Brendon depending on your gender. And it's not the Indigo Plateau in RSE; it's Evergrande City, which has nothing but a Pokemon Center.

    6. No. Team Aqua and Magma replace the Rockets here.

    7. Yes, but you only get to capture one of them depending on which Pokemon you pick as your starter. The one that you get to capture is the one that has a type advantage over your starter. Torchic=Suicune, Mudkip=Raikou, Treecko=Entei. And you won't see them until you defeat the E4.

    8. Professor Birch.

    9. Emerald has both Team Aqua and Magma as the bad guys. In Ruby, Team Magma plays the bad guys wile Team Aqua are the good guys. And Sapphure has Aqua as the bad guys and Magma as the good guys. Also, Emerald has both Groudon and Kyogre. The storyline in Emerald also has very slight differences.

Hmm ok. Doesn't interest me much at all coz I have no idea about these newer Pokemon, or this new area, or these new teams (Magma and Aqua)
So on the t.v show now is Team Rocket gone or are there just new teams for the games?
Are the Elite four the same as Red and Blue? Why Brendon? Are you ment to be a whole new Character, ie your not Ash against Gary??????
Lol sorry about the Johto/Kanto questions but they are the only regions I know of I would definately get either FR or LG if Johto was also in it.

Team Rocket is still there, I'm sure. As for the role of Team Aqua and Magma in the anime, ask in the Pokemon TV Show and Movies forum.

The E4 are not the same.

And who says it has to be Brendon? If you're male, your rival is May. Vice versa for females. Itt's them because the programmers made it that way. Another reason is stated below.

Does it matter if it's not Ash vs. Gary anymore? No one ever said the Pokemon games and anime followed each other in every way.

uhmmm I thought the dogs only appeared in FR/LG.:)

Oh yes...right. The dogs are nly in FRLG. In RSE, you get a shot at Lati@s instead.

Well yes. This adventure takes place in Hoenn, and Hoenn has a Safari Zone, thus it is different from Kanto. In Emerald, new areas open up in the Safari Zone after you defeat the Elite Four.

They are good games, and you won't regret buying them. I recommend emerald.
