    That's actually an optical illusion.

I think the anime keeps improving very well. Of course, I have the right to say there have been episodes of exception, but I can let that slide.

You complain about the episodes being the same, but then you don't like how a lot of his pokemon are ignored? Most of the pokemon had their share of time in past regions, now it is time for Isshu region pokemon to get some spot light. If by real looking you mean the animation changed? Then yes it has, and I think it changed for the better. The attacks look different and more realistic which I personally like. So they got a new voice actor for Ash its not the end of the world. Some people like Veronica Taylor and others like Sarah Natochenny not everyone can be satisfied with every voice actor for every character. If my not be worth watching to you personally but there are still plenty of people that think the series is doing just fine.

What the hell are you talking about? Pokemon have hardly any realism any more, the writers don't care about anatomy anymore. Compare Krabby to Corphish, Persian to Delcatty, Chimchar to the monkey trio, etc. There is much less attention to bone and muscles details in the newer models. Older Pokemon had basic features you'd normally find in real life, like paws on a feline or the bushy brows most birds carry. It gives most newer Pokemon a more robotic feel. I swear, most 5th gen Pokemon have practically no angles in their entire body. It's hard to look at them seriously.

All that other stuff is just the generic opinion shared by all you nostalgia frea-

I'm just realizing that you may be a troll. :P

I think the anime has improved significantly over the years and is worth watching now more than ever.

Right, I'm a bit annoyed at these anime bashing threads. Firstly, I quite like the new voices, they're not as good as the originals but the voices are still good in their own way. None of the pokemon are real looking, never mind the new ones. I prefer Misty too over May and Dawn but I'm not complaining. All shows evolve over time and for a show to do that, characters have to be dumped and replaced with new ones, it's like that with all shows. The same appplies to the Pokemon. No, every episode is not the same. Each episode has its own story (apart from the 2-3 part arcs, etc) and most fillers have their own morals.

You say you stopped watching it after Battle Frontier? So why did you create a thread just to bash it if you no longer watch it?

Soo, before this thread does become a war, I'm going to pull out the white rag. Oh, and if you do want to discuss whether you think the anime is going downhill or not, the you can voice your opinions over here.
