I don't use Legendary pokemon because I like to use normal ones and I know I could use regular ones to beat legendarys. Someone tell me to replace attacks/ pokemon/or item for my list.

Just get a Legendary to beat your friend. If he's a really annoying rival, then I suggest you use a Legendary Dog. Use either Raikou or Suicune with these movesets:

    Raikou

    Rain Dancce
    Thunder
    Thunderwave
    Hyper Beam

    Suicune

    Rain Dance
    Blizzard
    Hydro Pump
    Confuse Ray

If you don't wanna use a Legendary, use your Jolteon and keep Full Restoring it or use one of these Pokemon:

    Snorlax - Leftovers

    Rest
    Snore
Rollout - If you can keep your Snorlax going for a while, it can get REALLY powerful
    Tunderpunch/Hyper Beam/Toxic

    or use a:

    Dragonite

Outrage - Kewl attack that get's really strong really fast
Hyper Beam - you'll need a strong attack to take down Lugia
    Thunderwave
Zap Cannon/Thunder - Take your pick, both REALLY strong Electric attacks

Welll for starts take take down of from espeon and put in HP fire.Since u have crunch on arcanine then take bite of and add sunny day which will boost morning sun and HP fire as well as aid any other pokemon one your team using fire attacks.
Put in Machamp-rock slide, cross chop,[filler], [filler].Try the scary face/headbutt combo for fun if u want ^_^.He will deal with Tyranitar, Blissey and Snorlax easily.Drop Crobat.Add in Blissey -heal bell, softboiled, light screen, thunderbolt or Snorlax -rest, curse, rollout/earthquake, snore.

This is from the top of my head since i haven't played GSC in a while.I will be back soon with better move sets and suggestions to beat all of your rival's pokemon.

    I'll just comment on your "rival"'s team... as this is afterall a competition so sounds a bit unfair if we give you a team ^_^;

(btw, legendaries do not mean winning... even if it's 6 legendaries, if they're as crappy as that Lugia belonging to that rival person, well have no fear, for Umbreon is here!)

-no pseudohazer... that means "Please Sword Dance Me"
-mean look will work very well here... no pseudohazer
-only 1 Pokemon out of 6 has healing moves... they won't last long
    -no rest = status-bomb away!
-Mewtwo and Espeon are exaclty duplicates of one another in this case... if you killed one well you can kill the other
-shadowball owns half of the entire team... the other half has ground weakness
-Lugia may seems to be very scary but low PP moves are all it have... stall it out with rest/protect/defense buffs
-lacks many many elemental attacks... it's pretty much all psychic. Tyranitar is the only one with various elementals covered

Shouldn't be too hard to defeat... afterall it's all poor moveset for your rival.

Actually frostweaver is correct about your rival's team but, i think u should try these suggestions for your team -
Arcanine - substitute, flamethrower, attract, body slam
or Arcanine - curse, rest, flamethrower, body slam
Jolteon - thunderbolt, attract, thunder wave, roar
Tyranitar - earthquake, rest/sandstorm ,rockslide, crunch

Or use these pokemon + move sets
Snorlax - rest, cuse, body slam, earthquake
Machamp -rest, curse, cross chop, earthquake/rock slide
Blissey - heal bell, light screen, ice beam, softboiled

Busted, are you still only playing with a team that has only rares? I bet you, name any legendarie. And I'll give you a regular Pokemon that could own it.

And Scizor, use Netbattle to practice with.

Your rival's team is just begging for one of 2 things:

Countersey, please come and own me.

Umbreon, please come out, Double team up, rest, and baton pass it to whatever sweeper you have to own me with.

Thanks for the advice, I replace Espeon for Umbreon with Double Team, Rest, Baton Pass, and Toxic

um...er....uh....use high stat pokemon. wif a moveset wifout baton pass. i dont noe wats the use of baton pass. its crappy *to me* and im wondering y u need rest...u rest and wifout luck u miss about 5 turns and ur opponent kills u. and also wondering y u have a umbreon wid double team, rest, baton pass and toxic.
focus on ur opponent's weaknesses, have high stats (like rare and legendary pokemon) ur opponent has super high stat poekmmon *not all of them* and u have a crobat*sigh* u dont stand a chance...sorry but ur rival is very strong. and also my party will lose *bah who cares its hard*

    Bored Out!

*actually... Frostweaver believes that the situation is completely the other way around. That Umbreon will cost the end of many teams who aren't careful*

That rival of yours is playing dirty...Umbreon is great to have it in the team but what are your rivals Pokemon's levels?Still if the legendaries are all lv.100 he's hard to beat but he has two psychic pokemon....Yes,Umbreon should do it.

*Umbreon's power doesn't rely on the fact that "it can beat psychic types because it's dark!" no no... it's because of it's great defense and teh ability to learn quite a bit of recovery moves*

*the rival's team is not playing dirty at all... real dirtiness have Blissey Snorlax Passer Dancer and so on...*

If Umbreon had, Crunch or Faint attack or whatever dark attack it can learn, It could take out Mewtwo or cause a lot of damage. That's the only possibility I can think of..Otherwise Your dead...:P

You still don't understand MiNuN*.Umbreon has high SpDef and Def and can learn recovery moves. However it has horrid SpAtt to use dark moves properly or does it have good Att even to use any other type of moves. So it must be given movesets which utilizes its abilities. In other words it must be used as more of an annoyer as it cannot function as an all out/medium attacker so u double team to max out evasion and then rest/moonlight to recover lost hp[which will be low due to high defenses]then toxic the opponent to faint[or u can toxic first, it is up to u].Then, if u want, to baton pass the gained evasion to an attacker to sweep down their team with out being hit much, if at all.Umbreon is great to use against this team as their is no pokemon on the opponents team to stop the double teaming - hazer or even to gain a OHKO before evasion gets to high.
Sorry for the lengh of this but i think MiNuN* needs to understand this now.
