    There is something wierd on the pokemon games sometimes you hear pokemon growls my friend said it was a shiny pokemon caling but I don`t know.

    LOL,a shiney pokemon i wish.

    it's just a thing Nintendo put in there to make the game sound more real.I think it's a pretty nice feature.
     
    I thought it was a bug of some sort or my ear playing tricks to me after playing Pokemon for 3 hours straight... but I found out it was a new feature after getting the guidebook.
    They could have at least written something about this on the instruction manual.
     
    Once when I was in Team Magma's hideout, I heard Marril's cry a lot. I thought it was my Marril making them.
     
    I heard a pokemon roar a couple of times when I was in meteor Falls, other caves, and the forest. I agree with Happy Dude, I think Nintendo just put it in the background so it'll be more real.
     
    yeah nothing important... i used to think it was where latios/latias were... but yeah i wsa madly wrong.
     
    Yes, you can hear pokemon calling in the background on at least five of the games, but the calls are there just as an added effect. However, in one of the guides I've got, it does say to listen out for a pokemon cry that's not usual for the place you're in... this is an indicator that something special is around, though, to be honest, it's never happened to me.
