Soul Silver Team

So I've came back to play Soul Silver after feeling pretty nostalgic about Pokemon and wanted some advice and rating for my planned team, and maybe some point-outs to other pokemon I should use in it since it is yet to be complete.
(This is my planned team, probably before Kanto region as I plan to make some changes when I get to Kanto)

Typhlosion: Modest, Mischievous
Eruption
Thunderpunch
Earthquake
Focus Blast

Ampharos: Mild, Likes to Run
Discharge / Thunderbolt
Signal Beam
Power Gem / Focus Blast
Thunder Wave (?)

Lapras: Modest, Likes to Relax
Surf
Ice Beam
Perish Song
Psychic

Now those 3 are the pokemon I am sure to be using, and I have some that I need to put in aswell but can't quite decide and would like you're advice.
Out of these are Heracross, Donphan / Gliscor / Tyranitar, Murkrow / Aerodactyl (or other Flying type as I need advice on those...), Bellossom and Espeon.
If you have any advice or rating I would highly appreciate it =]

IMO, Quagsire's better than Lapras, but whatever. This is the the only Spider I'll ever love.

Thats all I got. And if your using Eruption, EV train HP and spatk. EV train your pkmn's highest stat first. Go to serubii or Road to Destiny for HG/SS EV hotspots.
