Here is where you can discuss variations of toxicity in "Sparks Fly for Magnemite."

    My review to come forthwith.

I don't plan to be on today, so posting mega-early.

    Ash: That Pokemon's a streaker!
Misty: I think you mean stalker

XD I wonder what they said in Japanese? Anyway, this is a pretty cool episode. Ash Oak's Muk despite having a space...ouch. For some reason, this is the only episode that Muk smells. There's an odd scene with Nurse Meowth

Obviously Oak washes Muk constantly :P.

Anyways, I like this episode a lot. This episode was pretty cool and not annoying at all... unless you take out those Magnamite XD. So, who feels bad for Muk?

I like it a lot. The best of what you see in this episode is in builders (before we know Magnemite) that use boldness at every turn to convey the tone, and the application of the "Creepy Shadow" Japanese BGM track was rather adroit as well (and I must say despite its calm tones I find it ultimately a pensive and maybe even too frenetic track, though given how the track sort of lingers as it goes on I don't know if the track's intro was good for necessity... but I like it a lot nontheless). I also liked how the Nurse Joy in this episode wasn't like every other one - she was flawed, which added just a might bit to her character. This episode has a more furtive, sinister, and ominous mood to set then a good deal of the other ones. As an episode, it reminds me of why I rather appreciate the Kanto season above all.

I liked this epsiode. Ash caught one of my favorite pokemon of his Muk. Is muk the only fully evolved pokemon ash has ever caught?

He caught a Beedrill, Snorlax, Primeape, Noctowl, Tauros, Heracross, and maybe a few others Jecht. Maybe Lapras if you count that.

I wouldn't count the ones that don't evolve. SO that leaves Primeape, Noctowl, Snorlax, and Muk.

When did he catch a Beedrill it sounds familer but I cant remember the episode?

It was a random Johto episode, apparently he gave it away to the annoying girl who came up every now and again singing a baseball song. He gave it away the same episode he caught it

The annoying girl had a name ya know. So mean Jorah, hurting the feelings of an animated character. But this episode was cool for having the Muk we don't see anymore.

She's dead now, it doesn't matter if I'm mean :) I can't even remember her name...I tried, I really did. Ah, no, I know! Cassey!

Disliking someone for who they are is wrong Jorah. Just ask the poor Gimer.

She forces herself to be annoying, and so, forces me to hate her. It cannot be helped :) There are actually few people I hate just because they're annoying, but she is one of he honoured few who make the list. So it isn't all bad for her! Yay! Gimer?

Curse my rushed spelling. I meant Grimer. You know, how they were evil in this episode. Unlike Casey, who was cool and, um, cool :P.

I never cared for Casey, either. So, let's move on.

Bulbapedia's entry on the episode had an interesting note, as it was the U.S. debut of the Rockets' Gyarados submarine (the original appearance was Beauty and the Beach). So, yeah, it was the more impressive of the Rockets' mecha (if it's considered to be one), though, their later Magikarp one would be terribly ironic (to me, anyway).

So, yeah, what a way to go, really. Even though, the Japanese side of things didn't intend that way, at all. Dub people are strange, aren't they?
