4th Gen Spiky Pichu help?

I'm 5 gym badges through soul silver and i'm not sure about the spiky pichu,
First of all can you trade from platinum to soulsilver without beating the league, and if so how?
Secondly if u can and i can do it is anyone willing to send me the pikachu coloured pichu that starts the spiky eared pichu event thiingy in the Ilex forest? i'll trade it straight back after i've got the spiky pichu.
