erm which one is better? like i have a zangoose again a ewtwo. shd i use shadow ball or return?

erm how does supper effective counts anyway?

super effective is 2x, STAB is 1.5x.

Well if your zangoose loves you like heck, rturns base power should be 102, and with stab it will become 153.

With shadowball- it has a base power of 80, 2x on mewtwo makes in a base power of 160.

They're both physical moves, so they do similar damage.

You have to check a few things when thinking about what type of attack to use:
Do not be like the classic noob:
"Well my slaking needs brick break so it could beat other normal types, DUH"
"Look you tart: Return will do MORE damage than brick break on a normal type when used by slaking: 102(1.5)= 153. 75(2)= 150. Don't bother."

Think about things like that when choosing your attack. :-)

oic thx a lot man! that really helps!

    hm that means stab + choice band = x3? O.o (1.5 + 1.5)

    stab + choice band = 2.25.

All the damage calculation in the game is based on multplication:
    Return on Slaking@choiceband:
    1.5x1.5 = 2.25

    Its still pretty nice :)

    Youre wrong.

CB is only on the attack stat, not moves. CBslaking will have 690 attack, and with stabbed return kills a lot of crap.

just posting to say the guys above me is right

    Not against Regirock ;P
On a similar note: on sweepers, is it always best to try and include a stabbed move when stats allow it?

hmmm juz wanna ask y does ppl use return on slaking instead of hyper beam?

i dun think its because of the PP rite? with that much much u can finish the game b4 the pp end... is it bcos of the accuracy?

it is so that you can switch out, if you want

erm u mean that if use hyper beam u cant switch out even if u want to after using it?

erm what does medicham OHKO got to do with that... sorry -.-

Ah, my bad, i thought CB multplied da attack. 690 attack... AHHHHH!!!

I think im gonna start using that now lolz

Dang, a CB medicham which hasn't been skillswaped... oh my.

I prefer medicham for massive attack as its bests slaking with its 720 atk, gets fighting STAB, and can attack every turn.

if only it had base 110 speed

    even brick break...........

    Same Type Attack Boost
