![[PokeCommunity.com] Star Wars: Wraith Squadron -- Back in the Air [PokeCommunity.com] Star Wars: Wraith Squadron -- Back in the Air](https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/Nolofinwe/200px-Wraith_logo2.jpg)
"Pretty. What do we blow up first?"
They began as the dregs of the New Repbulic Starfighter Corps, predicted as a doomed project by Admiral Ackbar and commaned by Wedge Antilles. They became Wraith Squadron, the other elite of the Corps, the other squadron with a 50% casualty rate, the other squadron thrown in where it was suicide to even attempt, and lesser known about them, the vibroblades of the fledgeling Republic, the monsters under Imperial beds. They became a little-known and little-used intelligence cell.
Until now, 150 ABY, when the founding is but a memory, Luke Skywalker is long dead and the New Republic is under siege from a resurrected Sith Empire. The old squadron was wiped out during the Yuzhan Vong invasion. An acolyte of the New Jedi Order stumbles across mention of Wraith Squadron in his studies and is struck by an idea. With his friends, they gather what they need and begin to recreate the Wraiths. Rebuilt and refurbished X-Wings, and most telling, a Force Link. The Emperor used a more basic one to command his fleets and unify them, but between the small number of Jedi, it is closer, tighter, stronger. They act as a single entity now.
After a year of practice, after they are Knighted, the new Wraiths take to the air, acting as an independant military organazation, one acting for Republic interests, but where they see fit. It would make their long-dead (few from natural causes) predecessors smile.
Ground Rules:
1. The Link requires most of your Force abilities. In short, augumented jumps and runs, no Force Lightning, Pushes, Pulls, any of that jazz.
2. Use common sense. If you're a guy and you've been stuck in the jungle for three days, you're gonna want a shave when you get back. If you're a 115-pound girl, you aren't going to knock out an Imperial Guard. So on and so forth.
3. Proper grammar and spelling are required. End of story.
4. Please use first-person past-tense. It improves continuity.
5. Unless I know you well enough to trust your skill consistantly, I require an RP sample.
