Hi all, I have recently really wanted to start up a playthrough of either the metal or colour generations (1&2). There were two problems with this. I don't own my old games and also my friends are now "too old for pokemon" which sucks. I have found an emulator for ios which works great, meaning I can play the old games. My idea was to use a thread as a way of communicating with anybody who is interested in starting up a brand new playthrough together. Pictures can be used to compare which starters you chose, who is on your team etc. If anybody interested would like to leave a comment saying which generation they want to play, a mutual decision can be made. Another bit of fun would be to choose opposing games. For example, some players will choose gold, others will choose silver. I would love to do this but playing alone takes away the experience.
    Thanks, james

Please excuse my bluntness but what do you mean all together?

Basically, anyone who's interested starts up a new game and we keep in touch and share our progress :)

I'm up for it, There's so much I forget about the metal gen. I have gold on gbc, as much as i'd like to get the ds one so there is a payoff (compatibility with current gen), there's a certain vibe to these in their original incarnations.

EDIT: Just tried to fire it up, my cartridge's battery died recently, might go pick up the remake.
