Question: Status of Change?

Do you have to be offline for you name to be changed by Administrators/Etc.?
or can it be done at anytime?

(I sent two PMs to mods already and they signed off right afterwards. ;;)

and who exactly gets the power to change names?
All out of curiousity.

No, it happens anytime. You have to put your name change in this thread. Those people will take care of it. Mostly the ones with green usernames change your screen name.​

It sorta sounds like your talking to me like I don't know anything at all after almost 4 years here, however. I already knew eveything else you told me.
I've sorta had name changes before, and been aware of moderation power ranks. :X

I've always thought that when I got a name change.

I felt like I always had to be off for them to change it.

You may be PM'ing them when they aren't actually on... I heard it displays you as online for a while after you sign off... maybe that's why they didn't answer PM

Fallen Nocturne doesn't change names, your best bet is to wait for Sylphiel or myself to get to the thread when we've got time.

Incidentally, I'm about to start the changes now that I'm home from work. Honestly though, PMing or VMing us won't help in even the slightest way, even if you ask super nicely. We only change names when we have time, so if you put your request in the thread, you can be 100% certain that when we have time we'll do it. ^^;

Lol, nobody actually answered this question.
Most anything about your account can be changed whether you're on or off line.

Btw, you need Admin CP access to change a member's name. AAs and up can do that.
