    I'm EV training pokemon at the moment, but before I get onto Steelix (for my UU team) I got stuck when I came up with this

    Steelix@Leftovers
    Impish/Relaxed
    -Earthquake/Gyro Ball
    -Stealth Rock
    -Roar
    -Rest

    Probably not the best Stealth Rocker/Phazer out there, but this is for UU. The problem is should I go Impish and Earthquake (which I was originally gonna use) or Relaxed and Gyro Ball (which would be boosted due to poor speed, and -speed nature)
     
    Gyro Ball's power is decided by your opponent's speed, not yours. Stick to Impish and Earthquake. Not sure about Rest though. Try Rock Slide or Stone Edge instead.

    it's determined by the difference in speeds, so lowering your speed will increase the power of gyro ball in most situations.
     
    I'd use Gyro ball. It also hits those flying types that don't roost.
     
    WTF??? Definitely NOT Dragonbreath. It is a physical attacker and DBreath has weak power. No.

    Macho Brace halves speed and increases Gyro Balls power.
     
    macho brace? wouldn't iron ball be better?

    i like impish with iron tail... rest sucks without sleep talk.
