Im currently playing on vba emulator, with tgb-dual for tradebacks between gen 1 and 2 when needed. Anyways, i traded a machop back to get rock slide, traded it back, trained it until it evolved. Traded it over to my gold-save on vba to get it to evolve, it was very glitchy, and took some attempts to get it right. When i traded it back, it turned into lvl 0, was poisoned and had lost fire blast which i gave it.
Then the prof elm(?)called about something named pokerus, there was a question mark on machamps display, machamps nick was suddenly machoke/machamp btw, no idea about that. It certainly seem to be a machamp, so i guess thats fine. Status is pokerus, which i have no idea about. I also got back the coins which i had used invested in fire blast, so thats nice. Stat-wise it certainly seem to be a machamp as well, and it kept rock-slide, so no harm done.
Does anyone else have other strange experiences in this game? I never really had much weirdness going on in my games, this one was the biggest for me.

Yes, when I played Pokemon Crystal some years ago, I traded a MissingNo. hybrid from Pokemon Silver and the game acted in a weird way when I turned on the PC (I'll always remember the lv201 Politoed I saw one day), I finished getting a hybrid Ekans/Omastar and sending both hybrids to Pokemon Silver.

Another weird experience happened when I tried to connect my pirated cartridge, Pokemon Gold & Silver 2-in-1, to Pokemon Stadium 2. It was like if the game screwed the bootleg, it didn't allow me to save anymore (it would show a message like "No windows available for popping.", thus forcing me to turn off the console), sometimes it said that the savefile was corrupted, other times it let me continue but there were very strange Pokémon and one year later, even the graphics didn't show properly!

I think it was a brilliant anti-piracy security system or something.
