okay. i beleive this is a new strategy as I have never seen it:

Mean Look > Perish Song > Switch out?

    Anyone seen this?

Only thing is though, most pokemon that learn that combination can't take hits well... All you can hope for is to trap a Blissey that can only damage via Seismic Toss and your using a ghost or something

And no it's not new, I believe it came about in the 2nd gen... might have even been first gen i'm not sure

ahh yeah never thought about taking hits. maybe have it hold focus band/sash to keep it alive? im only going to use it for the combo.

Old and very cheap. And that's not the full cycle.

    It should be:
Mean Look / Perish Song / Protect / Random Attack / Switch

or u can use gengar and have this moveset
    Dream eater
    Hypnosis
    Mean look
    Perish Song

    So

Mean Look > Perish Song > Hypnosis > Switch Out?
But Does gengar learn Perish Song?

    EDIT: Yeah checked Psypokes

    Dream eater
    Hypnosis
    Mean look
    Perish Song
HA I MAI NAME IS BANETTE AND I CANT SLEEP WOULD U LIEK TO SEE MAH SHADUH CLAWWWW

Namely speaking, anything with Insomnia, Vital Spirit, and even Sleep Talk resists that set. Besides, Dream Eater is just retarded when all the enemy will do is switch anyway.

I suppose Mean Look would prevent switches. But that Imsomnia comment is absolutly right. My Noctowl can COMPLETELY resist that set, with Insomnia & Whirlwind-to cancel out Mean Look.
