This is, yet again, a Spirit Caller deck. Thus, the relevant banlist applies. No cards from sets newer than Cyberdark Impact are available, so don't bother suggesting them.
Anyway, just a little something that I made after finally completing my playset of Hamons and wanted to get some feedback on.
Monsters (14)
1x Breaker the Magical Warrior
3x Chiron the Mage
1x D.D. Warrior Lady
3x Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder
1x Magician of Faith
1x Marshmallon
2x Magical Library
1x Sangan
1x Spirit Reaper
Spells (23)
3x Archfiend's Oath
3x Chain Energy
3x Convulsion of Nature
2x Giant Trunade
1x Graceful Charity
1x Level Limit - Area B
3x Messenger of Peace
1x Premature Burial
3x Sealed Gold Coffer
3x Wave-Motion Cannon
Traps (3)
1x Magic Cylinder
1x Mirror Force
1x Ring of Destruction
That's right, you crazy people, dedicated Hamon deck. The big lug might not have the most impressive ability as phantasms go, but when Hamon makes an entrance, opponents have a tendency to get hurt. Should said opponent's LP already have been parred down by Chain Energy and everybody's favorite burn effects, all the better. Chain Energy and Wave-Motion Cannon serve to drop down the opponent into KO range while Messenger of Peace and Level Limit help slow the game down and can be disposed of by offering them for Hamon's summoning requirement, Chain being another regular target for this. Between the old Archfiend's Oath/Convulsion of Nature draw engine, Graceful Charity and the allowed three copies of Sealed Gold Coffer, I rarely have much trouble with reaching my big finisher, and with this many spells in the build and the need to dig specific cards out, Royal Magical Library is an obvious inclusion while a full retinue of Chiron converts redudant copies of my spells into field pressure and helps keep lower power attackers at bay while clearing the way for the big finisher.
Premature Burial helps recycle my rather limited base of monsters as necessary, and when not, it's another easy pitch for Chiron and maximum allowed copies of Trunade is really a no-brainer for a deck already running Library and the Convulsion/Oath combo, allowing me to further spam spell counters, rearrange a clogged backfield, reuse Premature Burial, and eliminate any potential backfield interference before I drop my star player onto the field. Breaker and Warrior Lady are basic monster and S/T destruction fodder, Marshmallon and Reaper help me stall when the draws aren't going my way, and Magician of Faith and Sangan rended pretty obvious service here. Traps should be equally self-explanatory. Two big cards to help bring my opponent into KO range and the too-good-not-to-run Mirror Force. No Torrential, as I like to keep my precious few monsters on the field.
SO, obviously not an uber-competitive deck, but I will admit that there is a certain fun factor to being able to spring up to three Hamons on my opponent in a single turn. (Not a very difficult move at all if the draw engine kicks off properly) Thoughts?
