Suggestion and a little Question.

As the BW forum has like 10 locked threads every few pages because people are asking for trades. So shouldn't there be an announcment linking to the battle/trades forum or something?

also, random question, if i post something, and then i double post, and together the characters are over the limit or something, would they still be put together?

Well, actually you would've broken 2 rules if you double posted with 2 posts where both posts have bypassed the character limits, so depending on the moderator, both posts would probably get deleted.
But I'm no mod, so who am I to answer that ^^

Actually to solve that problem the flood control will come up and tell you not to post within 45 second of another post, all you need to do is not wait because your post is already in.

I don't think that would solve the problem because sadly people don't read announcements or the rules. That's why we have that problem. There will always be people who don't read the rules I guess.

Exactly. The kinds of people that read announcements are the kinds of people that read the rules as well, which means they'll already know.

they could just put threads on moderation for a bit..?

Hardly anything is going to help. If a thread hasn't been locked for a few hours report it. All you can do really.

We actually had an announcement active at one point when it was more of an issue (trade/battle threads) and believe me, the forum is inactive compared to what it was in May - so for that reason I don't really see the point of bringing back the announcement (it was actually mostly successful), but if trade/battle threads rise again, we'll consider it.

Also putting threads on moderation is no use cause we only get one or two threads a day if we're lucky. If anything, consider that for future gaming sections, really. But as a whole, I think B/W is fine right now, 'cause it has been worse not as bad as dppt back in the day though!
