Request for the Launchpad:
Make it so that the person who wants to make a hack has to:
1. Provide evidence that he/shit has modified the base game in some way
2. Provide evidence that he/shit plans on continuing to modify the base game in some way
That way we don't have idea posters filling up half the Launchpad
Request for the Discord:
Penalties for idea posters who pester the users

You actually posted this in the staff feedback thread which is for feedback regarding staff members themselves, not the actual forum. I've moved it into its own thread to discuss. :)

A lot of what you described is exactly why we have the Progressing Hacks section. The Launchpad isn't necessarily meant for people who have made progress on a hack, either in the present or the past. There are a lot of people who discover the magic of romhacking and immediately want to share their ideas, good or bad, with everyone else. The Launchpad exists to give people an outlet to do so, even if nothing comes of a lot of the hacks there.

In terms of what you suggested for Discord, can you elaborate on what you mean a little bit?

Unless they do it in a really obnoxious way, I'd actually encourage more people to do that. But maybe we can figure out a way for it to be less annoying for the regulars moving forward
