The November edition of Gameinformer had a large articl on the video-game adaption of the upcoming Superman Returns movie. The game looks gorgeous graphic-wise, and the gameplay itself looks fun as hell. The game is set in a free-roaming Metropolis and the surrounding area. As Superman, you have to use all of your powers to protect the city from Superman's various foes. Confirmed villains so far are Lex Luthor and Metallo, but rumors are floating around about Bizarro, Mongul, and Mr. Mxyzptlk appearing. The gameplay looks great, Superman's powers look like their being handled well. And another cool thing, you don't have to worry about health. There is no health meter, the only way you can get a game over is if a villain is allowed to do too much damage to the city.
Heres a bit of info that was the only let-down for me: the term "total freedom" is not in this game's vocabulary. You cannot simply let loose with your powers like you could in Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. You have to protect the people, which really takes away from the freedom factor.
