I was looking in my Pokedex and noticed a couple with equal seen and caught that were surprising. I figured one or two would have fled battle by that point.
They are Rhyhorn which is 44 caught and seen, Kabuto 42 caught and seen and Sableye 40 caught and seen.
I haven't hatched any Kabuto so all are from the wild, I have hatched a couple Rhyhorn.
I usually catch every rare Pokemon I see so my Pokedex has a lot of equals with numbers below 10. However I usually run or a Pokemon flees with seens over 15.
Since the new gyms add a seen if you see a Pokemon in a gym its impossible to have equal numbers unless you hatch or get the wild Pokemon first.
There was a recent Rock event where I did encounter every Kabuto. I also catch every Sableye I encounter. Mainly just to keep the numbers the same.
