Name: Ivory "Ivy" van Dijck
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Personality: She is a very ditzy little girl, that can easily be said. She is clumsy, a little rock can cause her to slip and fall. Her body is usually covered in at least a few bruises, but this made her tough. She is definitely not a crybaby, if she would have cried for every time she skimmed her knee, she'd be dead by dehydration.
She is also quite ditzy in her comments, some things aren't quite clear to her at first, making her come to stupid conclusions and leading to embarrassing moments. She is a bit blunt with what she says, too blunt. She does before she thinks landing her into a lot of foolish situations that could have easily be avoided.
Also Ivory is naïve, she will easily believe things you tell her, sarcasm also completely passes her by sometimes. This also makes her very easy to manipulate.
Her intentions are always true though, no matter how stupid she was, she usually only meant good with it. Of course, she has her bad times too, times when her intentions aren't as true, but she is quick to regret it afterwards.
Her anger is something else completely. It is almost impossible to think of the little creature as a demon when she is mad, be she very nearly becomes one. Her childlike personality leads to arguments where she refuses to back off. She can't stand to lose one and so she becomes mad and childish. She'll sit with her back to you and not talk to you for a long time. These things are usually over small things too, you said something she didn't like and she'd comment, dragging it out until you'd have enough. That is when she can hold a grudge for a while, waiting for you to be the one to apologize, because she won't. She'll feel regret, of course, but her stubborn nature prevents her from actually being the one to apologize. She simply won't do it.
But for the most part she is nice girl that likes to be friends with everybody. She especially has a tendency to be attracted towards those that others find strange, or that have no friends. She feels she needs to be their friend, simply because they don't have any. Also, they simply interest her, in a strange way. She likes the social outcasts, it's another story to learn.
Appearance: Ivory is a true ginger. As her name suggests, her skin is very pale, the only thing giving it color are the freckles. She has loads of freckles. They're not over her entire face, though, only over the nose and under the eyes. Her arms are freckly. Her hair is cut a little over shoulder length and it's copper-red and curly. She sometimes wears it in pigtails over her shoulders, but mostly it's just loose. She is a frail and tiny thing, standing at a 1.54m. She is very skinny, having almost no chest at all and no muscle either. You'd think she'd fly away with a gust of wind.
Her eyes are bright green and stand out with the red hair. Her face overall is rather small, with tiny ears and a tiny button nose.
She likes to wear bright clothing, though carefully stepping away from the pink shades. She either wears light blue denim shorts or darker blue jean's that end at her knee. She took three shirts with her on the cruise, one of them being a comfortable light green shirt with puffy sleeves and a square cut. The have an elastic just beneath the bust and then they flow down freely. She also has her summery yellow shirt that has two spaghetti bands to hold it up, after that is't loose layers of frills that leave the belly button bare. Then she has a white gypsy-like shirt that leaves the shoulders bear. She also carries a teal zip-up sweater with yellow flowery details. All this is packed in a cylinder shaped darown leather bag with one shoulder strap. This also carries necessary items such as a few potions, a whole bunch of spare Pokéballs and some nice treats for her little creatures.
She also carries rather large sunglasses with her, that make her face even smaller. She usually wears silver hoop earrings and a silver necklace with a sparkling snowflake-shaped pendant attached.
Her shoes are either black flats or white comfy sneakers.
Bio: Ivory was one of those children everyone found cute. She was the one who wobbly walked towards the pokemon to give them a squishy hug. Or the one with the adorable smile. No one could resist her charms. She grew up in a house full of love and care. Her mother worked in a department store while her dad was a security guard. She grew up in Olivine and was obsessed with the lighthouse Ampharos. She always wanted an Ampharos, it was her favorite Pokémon.
On her 10th birthday her parents surprised her with a tiny little Mareep. It was very small, smaller than average and very cute also. It was her best birthday yet. Her parents allowed her to train the Mareep in the area, but she wasn't allowed to go adventuring yet. She loved the lonely little thing. She never really trained it too hard, it was a frail and skittish little Pokémon and she didn't want to frighten it even more.
A few years later, when she was 13, she got addressed by a local breeder. The breeder said she found a Pokemon that needed Ivory's help. So Ivory took the little sad Cubone, but it didn't turn out to be such a sad little Pokemon, because she took after her trainer in a lot of ways.
Tehn, on her 16th birthday she told her parents she was going to go on an adventure. She was old enough. Her mother tried to stall her as long as possible, but in the end, gave in. She did gift Ivy with a Lapras, in case anything happened to her. And so, she went on the challenge. She beat one gyms before she got homesick. She wanted to go back to Johto. She could do a challenge there too, right?
And so she reached the Louisia, about to go back to her home island. But things didn't quite go well.
Pokémon:
Lapras (Amphitrite)
Cubone (Persephone)
Mareep (Apolla)
Pokémon Info:
Amphitrite (Phoebe) is still very young, but she is strong enough to carry one trainer on her back. She's playful and likes to swim, a lot. She bonded well with Ivory and loves to play with her in the sea. She is incredibly friendly too.
Persephone (Phione) is surprisingly cheerful and curious. She doesn't seem as sad as the other Cubones and she hasn't evolved into a Marowak either. Maybe the two things are tied together? either way Persephone is incredibly friendly and loves to play. Sometimes if she needs attention she'll beat you with her bone, or beat it against something else to make noise.
Apolla is frightened of a lot. She doesn't like battling and usually just cowers away when anything unexpected happens. She does love Ivy, and Ivy is the only one that can make her feel safe.
Z34Guy
Name: Angel Gemps
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Personality: Angel is shy, timid, keeps to himself and likes to listen to pop music. He is surprisingly stoic and doesn't reveal his feelings easily as well as having a hard time telling others feelings (even when it's oh so blatantly obvious). Underneath this though is a loving, caring person who's deeply troubled by other's opinions. This is all hidden under a layer of depression though.
When he thinks he's alone, he sings to make himself feel better. He's really good at singing but gets overly embarrassed when someone overhears him. He seems really easy-going... unless he doesn't have his music. Then he gets spaztastic and freaks out before going into withdrawal. If he snaps though, watch out. He will lash out at the first things he sees and won't stop til he can't move anymore.
Appearance: Angel has dark blue fluffy, spikey hair and crystal-like blue eyes that seem to glow slightly in darkness giving them an eerily beautiful vibe (Think Sora Hashiba from 'Sukisho", but younger looking) . He stands at 5' 10" and weighs around 160 lbs. His frame is tall and skinny but normal for his age. He wears a pair of noise canceling headphones around his neck. Covering his torso is a white T shirt with two uneven blue stripes running down the front off to the right (to him) side a little. His legs are covered with jeans that hug his thighs but open up at the bottom for a bell-bottom like look with fading running down the front and back. On his wrist is a fuzzy black wristband/sweatband and he wears black sneakers with stylized red stitching and silver lining. On his shoulder is strapped a black messenger bag with blue inserts.
When he started his journey, he had a pale complexion from staying inside singing alot, but has gained a nice deep tan since then. His hair has only needed a few trimmings to keep it managable, but has been otherwise untouched. He has lately started growing a small goatee which shows dark blue IS his true hair color. His iPod had been completely modified prior to him starting his journey. Unsure of the torture it would endure, Angel made it waterproof and converted it to solar powered while ruggedizing it a bit with a rubber skin.
Bio: Angel was born and raised in Viridian City. As a young child, he was a bright student, often getting A's and B's, but where he excelled was Music and Chorus. As he got older, his love of music and singing grew, often putting him at odds with his dad who want edhim to follow in the family tradition of becoming a pokemon trainer. As his love for music and singing grew, so also did his abilitys. It became apparent by age 12 that he was more talented than most famous singers.
His dad is an ex-pokemon trainer turned reseacher with professor Oak. Being that his dad is dealing with science, his dad tends to think things through logically and scientifically. He has a lower chance of becoming a pop idol than becoming a gym leader. Things would be easier for him had his mom been there to support him despite his dad, but Angel's mom passed away when he was born, leading to his father being a bit overprotective.
Angel was forced to take a pokemon journey by his dad and Professor Oak. Given a pokemon and shoved off at age 15, he developed a hatred of his dad. In fact, once, while "coincidentally" meeting his dad while on his journey in Goldenrod City, Angel snapped and lashed out at his dad. His old man spent 3 weeks in the Goldenrod City Hospital and 2 months in recovery. This is one of the few violent streaks Angel has ever had. Angel then had a psychiatric evaluation to see whether he was actually sane. He passed but was labeled "currently unstable". Some have wondered whether he has a dual personality as he seems conflicted quite often with himself.
No matter how much he denies it, Angel makes a great pokemon trainer. Years of onhand experience with his dad has led to a unique battle style. Rather than shouting out attacks, he trains his pokemon to respond to changes in the pitch of his voice while he sings during a battle. The change in pitch tells them what to do. This gives him the constant element of surprise as no one he's met has been able to figure out what he's thinking or what he ordered his pokemon to do. However, sometimes it backfires when the pokemon mistakes one tone for another. He's apparently also trained them to know when he's singing for fun and when he's singing to command. This unique battle style combined with the range of tones and notes his voice can hit makes for a very tough battle.
Pokémon: Marill, Whismer
Pokémon Info:
Marill - male: One of Angel's favorite pokemon. He has a bond with it that he has with few other pokemon, save for his Whismer. Marill is laid back and loves to have fun but will turn deadly serious when it needs to be. Angel's fifth caught pokemon, they have endured alot together. The best of friends. Given a choice, Angel hates to admit it, but he'd pick his Marill over his other pokemon. Looks are decieving as Marill is Angel's strongest pokemon. It's taken down full grown Charizards before. It's tried to evolve but Angel won't let it, constantly saying he doesn't want Marill to change.
Whismer - female: Angel's second favorite of his pokemon. It's one of his favorites because of it's connections with sound and music. Whismer and Angel both share a love of music... only Whismer can't sing anywhere near as well as Angel. Music is a rather strong bond between them. Angel had looked after Whismer's egg for a long time before Whismer hatched. He was given the egg from a pokemon daycare when the trainer with the parenting pokemon didn't want it. Whismer is a bit of a cry-baby and is very skittish since it's still a newborn. But Whismer has proved tough time and time again when push comes to shove.
Feign
Name: Elliot Acies
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Personality: In a social setting, Elliot generally strives to gain attention, even in the most inappropriate of times. To this end, he has a sense of humour, ranging from allusions, to slapstick, to dark humour as well as the odd prank. He also likes to start arguments, always attempting to have his say, before the matter is over (even if it doesn't add to the conversation). Especially at school this gets him into trouble, as usually a fight might occur. He is never bitter after a fight, but rather he is passionate about them.
While he is not particularly energetic, by himself, he gets bored quickly. He had suffered early on in school as a result. But since his father helped him in obtaining a Trapinch, his homework and procrastination greatly diminished. He now takes his schooling seriously, but still manages to pull some strings in the above listed humours.
Because he is at that rebellion stage in life (teenager wut!), he tends to not listen to his parents often. Evidence of such could be seen in his room ("How old is that sandwhich?!"). Nonetheless his focus still stays with his homework.
Elliot's sister also tends to get on his nerves. Though he does love his family in the end. He also holds reservations (not fears) for water type pokemon.
Appearance: Elliot is Caucasian and has a medium build. He stands at a descent height of 5'10". He has black surfer's hair (which will either look all wacky from surfing, or from having put hair wax through it) and green eyes. He uses facial cleansers often, to avoid any outbreak of pimples.
He will usually be seen wearing Surfer branded clothing, a simple one coloured t-shirt with his favourite company on the front of it (he lost count of how many t-shirts he had a long time ago). As well he has a collection of border shorts, as well as men's capris, the majority of them being white or beige in colour. His usual favourite combination is a torquise t-shirt with and sleek white capris.
He also wears a necklace made of small round wooden beads.
Bio: Born in Mauville City, Elliot has lived in the Hoenn region his whole life. He grew up with a mother (Jill), father (Peter), and sister (Rosie). The family earned a descent income and as a result could afford some liberties. Elliot, as aforementioned, was popular at school, and before his first pokemon, he and some friends would go surfing in the bay just south of the city almost every day. It was not until the Sharpedo attack that he stopped going surfing, this happening at the age of 10. This as a result made him dislike water pokemon in general.
Because he did not decide to become a Pokemon trainer at the age of 10 like others in his class, Elliot studied on, or at least tried to do so. He did not even feel compelled to go on the journey, but did feel a bit lonely. Thus one day, his dad decided to take him on a trip to the desert, north of the city in attempt to help him catch a pokemon. To that end Elliot was able to catch a Trapinch (which he named Morpheus, after the God of Dreams, just for the fact that it sounded cool), who has been a strong willed companion and good friend since then. Most of the battles its been in however were school yard skirmishes, as Elliot had no desire to attempt any gym badges. But surprisingly one day, in the middle of one of his now few skirmishes, his Trapinch evolved to Vibrava.
At first sceptical about the "fun-ness" his father claimed a multi region cruise would be (for their summer vacation), Elliot decided to join the family when his father hinted at all the hot babes that would be on the cruise ship. Thus they headed from Hoenn, to Kanto first, while visiting there, their father decided to catch a pokemon with his own, and gave the now captured pokemon to his sister. It was a Meowth. Though for some strange reason, she named it Pikachu, and the name had stuck since then.
They eventually made their way to the Sinnoh region and then taking the Louisiana to the Johto region.
Pokémon: Vibrava nicknamed Morpheus (or Morph for short) is a male and looks like a typical Vibrava
Meowth nicknamed Pikachu is a regular looking Meowth. Pikachu is a female.
Pokémon Info: Vibrava: Strong willed and confident, and friendly. It will do what Elliot asks of it to do. Though its battle experience is not completely fine tuned, as it has not participated in many.
Meowth: His sister had it for about 3 weeks. It acts loyal to her, and only her, and on many occasions has scratched Elliot, and only him. This was becoming a down turn on the cruise for Elliot as his parents only smiled when they saw his sister play with her Pikachu.
Omen Origin
Name: Adeline "Addy" von Hazen
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Personality: Addy is a very out-going girl. She is very friendly and likes to have friends. Like any person in the world, she does have her tempers. When she was younger, she was given anything and everything she could ever ask for. Many people called her a spoiled brat because of that. Since she was spoiled as a child, she tends to throw little tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants.
When Addy sets goals, she never gives up until they've been achieved. Sometimes she goes to the extreme just to reach her goal. With Addy, you just never know! She's unpredictible. One moment she can be all happy, but when someone denies her of what she wants, then she can turn all angry and throw a hissy fit.
You could say that she's very optimistic, always looking on the bright side of things. When someone thinks that they can't do anything, Addy will try to bring their spirits up by telling them that they can do anything if they put their mind to it. Maybe she won't succeed by telling them so, but at least she tried. No one can be perfect.
Addy isn't the sharpest tool in the box. She catches on slowly to jokes and information. It could take a person a week to learn new information, but it'll take Addy about two or three weeks to learn information. If someone told a joke, she would spend a long time trying to figure out what it meant and why it was so funny. She's not stupid or anything, it just takes her a while to process information. Some people like to belive she's stupid, but she's just a slow learner. Everyone learns at their own pace. Some are fast learners, others learn slowly.
Appearance: Addy is about 5 feet and 8 inches in height. She weighs somewhere between 150 and 160 pounds. She has a normal figure for a girl of her age and height. Her skin is a tan-like color, since she's mostly out in the sun. Originally, her skin was a pale color.
Addy has long, smooth, thick black hair that reaches down to her waist. Within the black hair are blonde and neon pink streaks added for some color. She has bangs covering part of her left emerald eye. Her right emerald eye is exposed. Addy wears some eye make-up, such as black eyeliner and some pink eyeshadow.
Her outfit consists of a short black dress that reaches her knees. The dress is similar to a tube top...except it's a dress. Under the dress, she wears a purple tank top. The sleeves are visible, since there are no sleeves whatsoever on her dress. She wears a studded belt in the waist area for an accesory. The skirt portion is ruffly from the waist down. Underneath the dress are light pink skinny jeans.
For shoes, she wears black combat boots with a bit of a heel. The boots go over her pink skinny jeans. They don't go all the up to her calf, though. She folded them down to her ankle, since on certain days she gets too hot with the boots all the way.
Addy loves to accesorize. She has three necklaces. One is a small necklace that goes up to her collar bone. It's a little pink skull-and-cross bones attatched to a silver chain. Her other necklace is medium length, going down to her bust. It's a moderate sized diamond heart attatched to a gold chain. It makes sense to be towards the bust, huh? Her final necklace is the same length as her heart neckalce, except it's a little silver teddy bear attatched to a blue piece of wire. She also wears black fingerless gloves that go up to her wrist along with a few bracelets that were given to her by her mother.
Bio: Addy came from a rich family. She was born an only child, which is probably why her family spoiled her rotten, giving her everything she asked for and more. For her eighth birthday, her father presented her with her first Pokemon, a Vulpix. Addy adored the little Vulpix. She named her Pixie. Her and Pixie trained almost every day. Addy dreamed of becoming a great Pokemon trainer, which is why she was eager to start training.
For her tenth birthday, she recieved her silver teddy necklace from her aunt. The year after that, for her eleventh birthday, she recieved four bracelets from her mother, as well as a Ponyta. Addy could care less about the jewelry because she just got a Ponyta for her birthday. She began to train with both Pixie and her new Ponyta, still hoping to be a wonderful Pokemon trainer one day.
Her last and final Pokemon was recieved on her sixteenth birthday: An Absol. She named her Absol Abby, named after her mother who died months before. As a momentum, she wears the four bracelets that her mother had bought for her tenth birthday. Right now, it's her only connection with her mother. She does have a few pictures, but they're hard to transport when she's traveling.
Addy set off to Johto to train her Pokemon some more and to go an adventure there. Johto is also where her aunt currently resides. Addy figured that since she's going to Johto for an adventure, she might as well drop by her aunt's house and say hello. Her father bought her a ticket for a ferry to Johto. Addy couldn't wait to go on her adventure.
Pokémon: Ninetails, Ponyta, and Absol
Pokémon Info: Ninetails (Pixie) - Female
Pixie was Addy's first Pokemon. Addy trained with Pixie every day. Day by day, Pixie got stronger, and one day, she evolved from a Vulpix to a Ninetails. Pixie is very protective over her trainer, since she's been with her for ten years. Pixie stays out of her Pokeball and wanders around with Addy, protecting from any dangers that may happen to her.
Ponyta - Female
Ponyta was Addy's second Pokemon. Addy trained with her Ponyta often, like she did with Vulpix. Sadly, Ponyta didn't evolve into a Rapidash yet. Ponyta isn't as strong as Pixie, since Addy hasn't been training her as much as she's been training Pixie. Addy still trains her Ponyta, hoping that one day she'll finally evolve into a Rapidash. Right now, she's starting to think that Ponytas don't evolve.
Absol (Abby) - Female
Absol was named after Addy's late mother, Abigail....AKA Abby. Again, Abby isn't as strong as Pixie, and is definately not as strong as Ponyta. Addy has been training Abby for about two years, so she's not so strong, but she not so weak, either. She's somewhere in the middle. Abby is like Pixie, she's protective over her trainer. Sadly, Addy can't have two Pokemon out and about with her, she finds that weird and akward. Like her mother and Pixie, Abby is very caring and loves Addy deeply. Addy likes to believe that her mother's spirit is associated with Abby. Everyone thinks she's crazy for thinking that.
Scarecrow1113
Name: Shelby Adderson
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Personality:
Shelby is quiet around people she doesn't know. Around people she does know, however, she's often pretty energetic and talkative. When someone gets her angry, she can get really fired up and mad. That's something a lot of people probably don't like about her, but she liked how she was. A lot of people like to hang around her because normally she's a pretty cool person, but they know not to get her angry. Shelby doesn't go for the whole makeup and looks department, because she really doesn't care that much about what other people think. Sure, she likes fitting in (as a lot of people do) but it isn't going to upset her if someone doesn't like the outfit she's wearing. This is why a lot of people call her a tomboy. Sometimes it bugs her because she doesn't feel like she's as classy and as girly as she should be like some of her old friends were, but most of the time she's proud to be one.
Sometimes people refer to her as a sarcastic person because she always seems to be making some smart remark. Normally though, she only does that if she really doesn't like the person. Although she has to admit, sometimes it doesn't take much to get on her bad side. She's also alright with comebacks. If she ever likes someone, most of the time she spends half of her time tripping and sputtering over her words. When she does this and looks back on the particular moment, she always feels like an idiot and immediately regrets even attempting to talk to the guy, no matter how nice he may be.
She has a fairly good sibling rivalry with her brother. They get along great when they're together, but she still has a burning passion to defeat him in a big battle one day. She wants to prove to her brother that she can overcome him and be the best Pokémon trainer around, which gives her a good amount of drive to be the best she can. She's glad that she has this drive, because she knows without it she would have never been able to catch her Pokémon. She also knew that Cyndaquil probably would have never evolved if she had just stood by and hadn't gotten so involved with training it. For this part of her personality, she can basically thank her brother for it.
Appearance:
Shelby has blue eyes and she wears contacts because she has Astigmatism. She has glasses though, incase her contacts get fogged up or start to bug her eyes too much. Her height is about 5'6". Some people call her short, but she thinks it's perfectly average for a girl. Her skin is a very pale color, and sometimes people say that she is her part albino. She didn't think it was her fault that she didn't really like to get out and go play sports, so she really couldn't care less about that. So obviously, she wasn't very gifted in the sports department. She wasn't fat, but she wasn't super skinny either, leaving her at about an average build. She also never wore makeup because she just didn't want to take the time to put the "crap" on. Her hair is brown, but it has a bit of blonde in it because she got highlights. Her hair is always put up in a ponytail, because it's so long (about two or three inches above her butt) that she doesn't want it to get in her way.
Normally Shelby wears a black jacket that zips up. The T-shirt under the jacket is normally red. Red is her favorite color, so that is why she wears that color a lot. She always wears blue jeans that are torn at the end because they're so long (they go a little past her shoe sometimes, depending on the particular type of jeans she's wearing that day). They vary in color though; some of them are lighter than others. Her shoes are black on the outside with red leopard design on the tongue and they say Scarecrow on the side (they say that because it's her nickname). The only real accessory she uses is a watch on her left wrist, a red and black bracelet on her right, and obviously a hair tie because she always keeps her hair in a ponytail. The very last accessory she has is a necklace that she got from her best friend. It has a bunch of different patterns in it, and the back of it is a blue color.
She has a new backpack that she bought for her upcoming travelling that she anticipated. It holds some of her personal items such as her glasses case, her clothes, and a few special trinkets that she chose to bring with her. The backpack is a shoulder bag, just a strap that she can easily slip on and off. It is a simple black color, with a few pouches to hold extra items or whatever else she decides to put in them. On the strap there are several hooks, which is where she keeps both of her Pokémon.
Bio:
Shelby had a fairly decent childhood. She grew up in Johto, and now she was going back to visit her old home and see if she could catch some more Pokémon. Her mother was killed in a shipwreck before Shelby turned six, so she never really got to meet her mother. Her father was a brilliant Pokémon trainer and now he travelled the world in search of legendary Pokémon. He had decided to leave for his own quest when he knew Shelby was able to take care of herself (basically the day she got her Cyndaquil). Her older brother is on a journey of his own. He left the day he was able to get his Pokémon, which was when Shelby was eight. Her brother started off with a Totodile, and Shelby remembered when he first caught his Pidgey. She had claimed that she would pass him up one day, and that was just what she was trying to do. Sometimes she thought that's what drove her to be the best she could.
Shelby obviously acquired her first Pokémon, Cyndaquil, through the local professor. She then got ready to set off on her journey, but before she did her father gave her a Pokémon egg. That's how she got her Larvitar. She misses her dad and brother a lot and thinks about them often. She left and then decided to return to Johto on this ship.
She couldn't wait to see her father, because he had recently informed her that he was going to be home. He also said that he would see if he could convince her brother to come home, which was another reason that she was going back home. She couldn't wait to see them both, but there was another motive. She wanted to challenge her brother to a one on one battle with both of their starters. So she found the most recent ferry to Johto and planned on her dad picking her up with his Pidgeot and taking them back to their old house.

Pokémon Info:
Quilava: Male
Quilava is a fairly loyal Pokémon. When Shelby first got him, he was very young and wasn't very strong. They quickly grew a close bond, and began to grow stronger with every battle they had. Cyndaquil won many trainer battles with her and wild Pokémon battles, and somewhere along that road it evolved into a Quilava. Shelby was very proud of Quilava and she felt they were inseparable. She didn't know what she would do if something were to happen to him.

Larvitar is a newer addition to her team. He's virtually still a baby. Shelby knew that Larvitar still looked to her to protect it and care for it, so that's exactly what she did. She wanted Larvitar to trust her, and she could sort of see that he was beginning to. He still got frightened every now and then, but he came to her and was a little bit less huddled in his shell (figuratively speaking, of course). She hoped that she could get a strong bond with him, and that they could be just as close as she and Quilava was.

Personality: Leilani is a very feisty and stuck-up individual that hates to be respectful. Many people tend to envy her though, as she comes from a fairly rich and wealthy family. She enjoys tormenting others and making herself feel superior to anyone she comes in contact with, even with her own parents. Leilani tends to have an "I-don't-care" attitude about everything, and usually only thinks of herself, unless she sees a guy that she's particularly interested in. Her stuck-up disposition bothers her mother, although she actually pretty much has the same personality as Leilani. In competition, Leilani has been to known to sabotage other contestants, and really gets a kick out of doing so. Somehow she can concoct a way to pull off her schemes while acting "sweet and innocent" enough to avoid being suspected. Leilani doesn't have many friends because of her rather rude behavior, yet her so-called "friends" that do tend to tolerate her, are really only there for her stuff. She is overly self-centered and couldn't careless about another person's feelings.
Appearance: Leilani is a very tall girl; she happens to be around 5'10"-5'11". She comes from a long line of Native Americans, so her skin is rather radiantly tan, and her dark brown, almost blackish looking hair is very soft and flowing. Leilani has dark brown eyes, although sometimes, if she's in bright sunlight, they almost give off a greenish tint as well. A pink shirt with a panda bear centered upon it, along with a white miniskirt cover her long slender body, and with a pair of pink flats as well, since she's already tall enough without shoes on. She is actually quite skinny, being around 120-130 lbs, which is considerably small for her height. Leilani will sometimes sport a pair of black sunglasses with crystals studded along the rim, but she usually only wears them while at the beach. When it's chilly out, she will wear a faux fur coat, since she believes wearing actual fur coats are unstylish, (but she does not want to admit that she has a soft spot for adorable animals.)
Bio: Leilani was born on June 26th in the Hoenn region. Most of her family still resides in the Hoenn region, but her immediate family decided to buy a mansion in the Sinnoh region a few months before the events of the roleplay. Leilani has always been sheltered by her father, who is known to be quite clingy, but her mother was typically the opposite, always going off on some important business trip and leaving them to find something to do on their own. Leilani's mother, Ivana, owns one of the world's most luxurious spa centers and is known to be a real female dog to her workers, often firing them for rather ridiculous reasons although she pays pretty well. Leilani knew and had seen her mother's personality on numerous occasions and really took a liking to the way her mother was in charge of everyone, making Leilani want to be the same way. So one could come to the conclusion that Leilani's personality actually stems from the way her mother acts.
Recently, Ivana asked Leilani to go to one of her "soon-to-be-opened" spa centers in Johto to observe and see how things are progressing, as she doesn't have enough time to go on her own. Leilani gladly accepted the task and saw the perfect opportunity by taking a ferry that would be leaving from Canalave City, which wasn't too far from where they stayed.

Wormadam (Sandy Cloak)
Pokemon Info:
Houndour – Houndour has been with Leilani for quite a while now; it has been almost two years since she's received Houndour as a birthday gift from her father. Leilani enjoys the company of Houndour, as it's very trustworthy and protects Leilani from harm whenever necessary. Leilani doesn't battle often though, so Houndour has remained unevolved as a result. Houndour tends to be prideful and overconfident, yet it's typically very clumsy.
Wormadam (Sandy Cloak) – Wormadam was captured as a Burmy by Leilani, although it was actually somewhat of an accident. She believed the Burmy was some kind of exotic plant that she had never seen before, and tried to get it for herself when she noticed that it was actually a Pokemon that was turned around. The Burmy took a liking to Leilani once it saw her, and would not leave Leilani alone whatsoever, so she just decided to capture it but it is probably the lesser used of the two Pokemon she owns. Burmy evolved into Wormadam almost a week after Leilani captured it, as the Burmy thought if it evolved Leilani would appreciate it more, but this proved to be false. [/FONT] Wormadam has a very quirky and upbeat personality, almost like a cheerleader.

Personality:
Selena is what she would call "laid-back" and what everyone else would call "lazy", Normally, she completely lacks any motivation and would rather simply lay about and wait for everything to do itself, perhaps reading a book in the mean time or listening to her favourite tunes. Not a lot of things outside of fiction interest her, especially not people. She might have met someone very important but it's doubtful she would remember. Sometimes however, she pretends she's forgotten things and people for certain reasons, be it embarrassment or to try and put herself in a psychologically superior position (she read about that in a book once). Selena likes things to move at her own pace; she complains if someone is going too fast or, rarely, too slow for her liking. However, when something does catch her interest, she becomes very energetic on the matter and surprisingly strong-willed at times, considering her default persona.
She isn't a dominating person, but she'd rather not be spoken down to. She dislikes people knowing too much about her unless she knows a lot about them in return. This can lead to her seeming closed off, which might in a sense be true, but it is not something she tries to achieve. She is an intelligent human being by nature, yet this is often offset by her lack of substantial knowledge as she finds studying far too dull. She usually only remembers what she had read in a book or seen on TV, both of which provide indirect ways for her to learn.
Selena likes to look nice although she abhors make-up (too troublesome to put on in her opinion). She enjoys looking at and wearing stylish clothes and greatly dislikes getting dirty. Despite her love of fashion, if there is something she doesn't like, she won't have anything to do with it no matter how popular it is. This extends to her thoughts on most things in the world.
Her temperament is usually mild-mannered, mostly due to her previously mentioned laziness, but also slightly arrogant. She can get along fine with other mild-mannered people but extremists who too happy, too angry, too nice, too quiet etc. tend to get on her nerves (perhaps hinting at her being slightly hypocritical). She usually won't act on this annoyance but she will treat the offender at arm's length. Selena's whole sense of humour revolves around sarcasm which she sometimes pulls off a little too subtly. Often times she might try and make overs uncomfortable through sarcasm or other such means. Again, this is often to try and take a psychologically superior state. Selena gets more frustrated than angry which could lead to her verbally lashing out at people, even if she likes them.
Appearance:
Selena is around 5'7" with her jet black hair fairly long, tickling her back between her shoulder blades, streaked with crimson dye. Her dark brown eyes stand out like gem stones against her light skin. Her body is fairly curvy and she is generally considered rather attractive. She usually wears a rather bored expression on her face.
When given the chance, she would change her outfit every day. Her normal attire consists of a jean miniskirt and dark tights with a black tank top. Topping it all off, she usually wears a large, fashionable red beret with her hair hidden inside it, framing her face with a few bangs of dark and red hair. She uses a dark blue hip bag with various pockets for the standard array of items and travel equipment. Attached to the bag is her Poketch: the standard girl's model with a Phone app (this will be broken so no worries). Her bag is filled mostly with alternate clothes rather than much to do with travelling. She does pack some snacks for her and her Pokemon though, as well as whatever set of books she's reading.
Bio:
Selena grew up in the city of Goldenrod due to her flamboyant father owning a large chain of shops, both convenience and otherwise. Although their family wasn't one to flaunt their money, Selena lived a rather comfortable life. She had herself a large bedroom, filled with plushies (one of which she always keeps with her) and books (always has several on hand). She grew up a rich girl with a simple life. She often had some maids accompanying her which might have led to the development of her laziness. Selena didn't see the point in joining the masses and going on some petty little "adventure" with her Pokemon, much to her parents' delight. She always figured that if anything interesting was going to happen in her life, it would come to her – without her having to traipse around in the mud and battle wave after wave of competitors. So she was content to live and wait.
Recently however, her patience has started to wear out. She was beginning to get bored of everything; her big comfortable house; her ever-present maids; the parties with other rich snobs; even her very interesting parents were beginning to bore her. Her mother had been an adventurer who had many close run-ins with danger so often told exciting tales. But there was only so much a girl could stand after twelve!
So she began travelling at 15. Not adventuring, just travelling, often by train, plane or car. Mostly to other clean and famous cities, looking for something interesting. But she was done with Johto within the year and Kanto looked decidedly boring as a whole (she had frequently visited Celadon and Saffron many times before for their shopping). So she struck out towards Sinnoh via jet. The history of the place greatly intrigued her, so it was with some reluctance that she agreed to come home at her parent's call. She didn't know what they were calling her for. Would she ever?
Pokemon:
Kero / Slakoth (Lax Nature): Selena received Kero as a present from her father one Christmas long ago. The two get along very well due to their rather similar natures. He, like most Slakoth and his master, loves to simply laze about and enjoy the sun. He prefers nature a little more to the urban environment favoured by Selena, by isn't too fussed. After all, getting angry and doing something would require effort. Unbeknownst to Selena, Kero is quite strong and very capable of handling himself in a battle – providing he doesn't have to do it too fast.
Virtua / Porygon (Timid Nature) : Selena won this rare Pokemon during one of her trips to Celadon. Virtua is a happy and easy-going Pokemon, probably because of its master rubbing off on it. Virtua might come across as a bit cowardly but this is because of its complete lack of experience as Selena never battles.

Name: Thomas Mitchell
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Personality: Thomas is an easy-going person, nothing seems to get to him. He also is quite intelligent, although he doesn't apply himself, so his intelligence tends to be hidden from most everyone. He doesn't really appreciate being told what to do, and acts on his own whenever possible. Thomas tends to ignore most problems around him, unless they either directly affect him, or if he sees a point in paying attention to it. Thomas will get very restless if he stays in one area for too long, and for this reason, he likes to travel a bit, never staying in one place for too long. Although, the only time he won't get restless is if he's near the ocean, he grew up near the ocean, so he is more apt to stick around the area for relaxation. Good weather is a friend of his, and on nice days, he will almost always be outside relaxing, or training his pokemon.
When Thomas meets new people, he generally takes a few looks at them, and decides quickly whether or not he should bother sticking around them. Luckily, he has always had a good sense for these kinds of things, so he never really has to deal with another headache, much to his liking. When Thomas finds someone that he likes to be around, he will be kind and go out of his way to make a good impression. But, when he finds someone he doesn't appreciate, Thomas makes it a point to be sure that they want nothing to do with him, so that he will have no headaches in the future(In case you couldn't tell, he doesn't like headaches). Thomas prefers the company of the select group of people he likes, and his pokemon of course.
Thomas has a low resistance to annoyance, and will usually make it known when he is annoyed at someone, either by telling them, or force, if necessary. Also, because of his policy towards strangers, he isn't a very popular person, and this disturbs him. Thomas does like attention, although he isn't very good at expressing this desire.
Appearance: Thomas is 6 foot 4 inches tall, has an athletic build, and straight, dirty blond hair, that goes just under his eyes, and to the middle of his neck. The hair in front of his eyes is cut shorter, because it was just too annoying having to wave his hair out of the way, just to see. Because of his love of relaxing, he generally dresses for relaxation as well. He wears a pair of baggy blue jeans, a white t-shirt with the sleeves cut off(sleeves annoy him), a pair of black shoes that keep his feet nice and warm, and a necklace. The necklace is shaped like a tear(think cascade badge, just darker and transparent) and is one of his favored items, losing it would make him quite sad.
Life in the tropics has given him a nice tan, and a horrible resistance to the cold. His eyes are a dark blue color, and usually give the impression that he is bored all the time.
Bio: Thomas' early life was spent in Olivine City, and was a very easy-going existence. His parents were very much like Thomas, and usually encouraged whatever it was that he wanted to do, which honestly, wasn't much. Thomas would often take walks along the beach, or relax in the shade, rarely interacting with people, though. When he turned 13, his parents decided to move to a place called Sunyshore City, in a place that Thomas had never heard of; Sinnoh. Once arriving in Sunshore, Thomas found the climate to be much like it was in Olivine, so there weren't too many complaints on his end. However, living in a new place did have a few down sides, namely, no friends. Although Thomas didn't exactly have a crowd of friends in Olivine, he did have some friends, so he took to wandering the beaches, and spent most of his time interacting with the various water type pokemon there.
Two years later, Thomas had gotten tired of staying in the same place all the time, and brought his attention to the various kids who had left over the years to begin a pokemon journey. This interested him greatly, and he made up his mind to start a pokemon journey with one of the pokemon he hung out with more then any of the others, a Squirtle. Getting his parents to agree with his plan didn't take much doing, and they went to the local pokemart to get some pokeballs to start Thomas off with.
Leaving Sunyshore City on a pokemon adventure wasn't as easy as Thomas had thought it would be, often he would be beaten by other trainers, though in the first few months as a trainer, Thomas grew to develop a love of battling with his pokemon friends. Of course he realized that training was just as important as actually battling other pokemon, so he practiced with his pokemon constantly, and his efforts were rewarded when Squirtle evolved a few months later. It was at this point in time that Thomas became interested in going back to Johto, as he was getting bored of the Sinnoh region, and wanted to see what challenges awaited there, as well as visiting Olivine to see what his old home was like after the years he was gone.

Pokémon Info:
Wartortle- Wartortle is a very calm and relaxed pokemon, much like his trainer. He loves to train, and is very level-headed in battle. He appreciates the quiet, and loves to swim at night. Wartortle also has a slight weakness for Tamato Berries, for some reason. Highly loyal to his trainer.
Aipom- Aipom is a very energetic pokemon, and always eager to learn new things. He is a very fast pokemon, and like Thomas, also shares a love of battling. On the few occasions when he isn't bouncing off the walls, he will be relaxing with Wartortle and Thomas. He hates being cramped, and prefers to stay out of his pokeball whenever possible. He is also quite loyal to Thomas.
