Sure. Go to your Pokégear and touch the Radio Card button. Keep pressing A until you see "Pokemon Talk" where Mary and Oak will be Saying something like, " This is breaking news! <insertnamehere> has made an appearance in <insertnamehere>!"

no i didnt. i guess that explains this problemHave you defeated the Pokémon League? I think the swarms only activate if you do.
