    The Tabletop Gaming Daily Chit-Chat

    Welcome to the Tabletop Gaming Daily Chit-Chat! I see no reason why Tabletop Gaming cannot have one of these threads too. The purpose of this thread is to talk about anything related to gaming which involves a gaming surface - card games and board games for the most part but numerous exceptions exist. Read the rules then get right to chatting away!

    Rules

    -This thread is for general chit-chat about Tabletop Gaming only. If you want to talk about something unrelated to Pokémon, feel free to go to the Daily Chit-Chat in Other Chat.
    -Refrain from changing the topic frequently, if it's been changed recently, there isn't a need to do so again, unless it's dying.
    -Be respectful. No flaming or trolling etc.
    -Have a blast!

    To lead things off . . .

    The Dragon's Collide structure deck will be released this Friday. What are your thoughts on Chaos Dragon decks?
     
    mmmmm....while I appreciate the sentiment, I believe this section is actually better off with multiple threads over a single thread that swallows everything else. I'll rattle off some reasons.

    • First is that we already don't have that much activity, and this would probably just suck all of the activity into here, aside from the occasional deck rating.
    • Second is that multiple threads actually do help keep the section more organized. TG is a lot more vast that something like anime which can be generally put into recent episode discussion.
    • Third is that activity here is low enough that I can allow threads on individual questions, though there is a Q&A thread that's never used.
    • Fourth (extension of one) is that all the general threads would be pulled into here. While it's nice to have occasional discussion, I'd prefer we stick with the general threads since we don't really get a lot anyways.
    • Fifth is that I swear this'll actually end up becoming ygo dcc instead of tg dcc which will cause only regulars to post in here anyways.

    But ya, as far as new structure decks and sets go, please make your own thread for them.
    /closed. feel free to voice displeasures and arguments towards opening this, though it's closing is pretty solid in my mind
