Um, that's not what I said, seriously, don't come in here and make stupid comments like that. I said I like different sets. I have a good enough win record that I think it's time to not use OU pokemon and OU movesets so much.

also, Tauros isn't used that much this gen. it may be classed OU, but it's rarely used. but when it IS used, it's usually a CB, which helps it win a lot of battles.

but considering you know so much and are apparently this very skilled battler, explain to me why you would max out its speed with Choice Scarf? i would think with its high base speed, you could invest some into HP. but sure, give tauros an average 328 attack and a whopping 480 speed. that way, its hits won't do severe damage, but it'll definitely outrun an occasional weavile and other pokes running choice scarf so that you can 2-3HKO them while they have a potential to 1-2HKO him. nice strategy.

Now, it's nothing wrong with using what you want, but you have to make sure that what you use will actually work. Now myself, I'm trying something different almost every time I post a team, and I'm always eagerly anticipating feedback, because to them, it will seem like a unique set, but with the chance of something being wrong with it. I'm not going to say "I'M USING THIS I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT IT" or attempt to call people blundering idiots just for as much as TRYING to offer useful advice to what I post.

Now if you're going to pitch a fit with someone that doesn't agree with your Thrash + Giga Impact Tauros, then don't come to us with your problems if you won't let us solve them. Simple as that.

Well, I was wondering the the thing...it would kind of be like me using CB blissey. Sure, it is different, but would it really work? Leik, yes duh leik evrydobyz knowz tht! But, no. And really, I don't see giga impact working, as heracross (or any other strong sweeper) would come in and destroy you, seeing as you can't switch. While I encourage creativity on most pokes, tauros isn't one of them *coughmovepoolthatsuckscough*. You can't rely on that kind of stuff on tauros. Maybe body slam for the paralyze factor, but not giga impact...it is like suicide, and skarm can just switch in on it. Of course, it could with all tauros sets, but it could set up spikes while you recharge...so yeah, just use the standard for this guy...

I can't believe I have to quote myself but just look at the bolded words. I now know what he thinks, so don't suggest new things, only what you think of it. I have only heard one thing that i would change, and that's the Choice band.

Um, not to be mini-mod here, but this is starting to turn into a flame war...tauros doesan't have a movepool that you debate for countless hours what moves to put on it. Really, what options do you have? As much as I hate to say it, I'd use the standard here...and yes, choice band just plain pwns on tauros, use it.

Meh, I think you guys are just getting a little too worked up is all. The bottomline is, tauros' movepool can't support novelty sets. That's a given if you ask me.

so before you try to justify your reasoning for offending someone, learn how to get over your ignorance and apologize for foul statements.

The forums is meant for discussing and criticizing movesets and the fact that you don't want to accept any constructive criticism kinda defeats the point of it. How does the fact that you know having a Pokémon with 3 Normal type moves is pretty much the stupidest thing you can do help you if no one helps you to fix the moveset?

Hence why this thread is now ~Closed~
