Ok, after much deliberation, I've decided I wanted to spill myself. I want to come clean, and let all know the truth. It has been something that has plagued me since I first heard the term, and I need help...
I don't know anything about competitive battling...
Yes! Gasp if you must! But, my Pokemon world revolves around only with getting through the story, catching each Pokemon, and then... well, kinda just nothing. No, I know there is another step. Battling others with your 'uber' Pokemon or what-not. This is the next step I wish to take. However, when I came across the wonder that is know as the internet, I decided I would do my research. Unfortunatly, it was years after Pokemon R/B/Y/G/S/C came out, and I missed the train.
Everyone not only surpassed the idea of it, but had already come up with shorter terms like 'uber' and 'wall' and '[insert something competitive-battling related]'. So I found myself in the dark, with no way of learning what was 'the perfect team' or if there even was one.
No, I am the ultimate n00b. Not newb, but n00b. I have a permanent love for Pokemon and I do not even understand the basics of this ultimate awesomness that is competitve battling beyond the definition of EVs. Please, help me.
