The name I have chosen for this team is "Team Advance", as it will be focused on making a hack of Fire Red(US)
Introduction
Spoiler:
I am hoping to form a team to make, possibly the biggest and most complete hack of the Advance Pokémon games ever.
The hack I am currently working on is called Pokémon Advance.
The hack is on a 100% clean rom, so all of the scripting is completely new.

Story
Spoiler:
Pokémon Advance is set seven years after the events of FR/LG and four years after the events of HG/SS. You are Seth - A cold hearted person who cares nothing for weak Pokémon, and at first reject your first Pokémon while being very rude to your mother, the one giving it to you.
You go to professor Oak's to get a better Pokémon, but he has none left, and prompts you to accept the Pokémon from your mother.
When you get back home, however, you find your mother is gone, with a note left on the table, telling you she has been kidnapped for her research, and you will never see her again.
After your last conversation with your mother ending so badly, you are ridden with guilt, and take the Pokémon that she left behind, and go to tell Professor Oak the bad news.
He gives you some tools and tells you go and find your mother, and help the police officers that will shortly be looking for her.
This is where your journey begins, to go and find your mother in a story full of twists, and many side-quests and optional missions available, including the following:
- Red has been missing for two years now, but has recently returned. Find him and find out where he has been.
- Gary's sister, Daisy is currently travelling Kanto with Leaf. They will be sure to help you along the way if you can befriend them. Both of them are decent Pokémon battlers too.
- Mewtwo has been re-captured by an evil force. They must be stopped before Kanto and Jhoto become doomed.
- And many, many more.

Features
Spoiler:
There will be several new functions that weren't present in any of the official Pokémon games, and some returning ones. Including:
- Kanto and Jhoto are now joined, as the mountain separating them has been built through.
- Dynamic wild Pokémon. Wild Pokémon now level with your Pokémon, so their level no longer depends on where they are. To be exact, they will always be three levels lower than your weakest Pokémon in your party.
- Dynamic Gym Leaders and Elite Four. Now Gym Leaders and the Elite four will always have stronger Pokémon than you. Gym leader Pokémon will be 5 levels higher than your strongest Pokémon, and the Elite Four will be 7 levels higher.
- Practice Gyms - There are several new towns in Kanto that were present in the anime. Some of these have practice gyms, which are just like normal Gyms but they don't give badges. Their Pokémon are 3 levels higher than your strongest.
- Every bookshelf is unique. Every single bookshelf in the game will have a unique book, each with a bit of the world's background from characters, places, past events or Pokémon species.
- Poképager. Recieve messages along the way to help with plot development.
- Re-battle trainers. Re-battle ANY trainer, including gym leaders. After beating a trainer, leaving the area and then returning, that trainer will challenge you to a re-match if you talk to them, which you can decline if you don't want to fight them.

Progress
Spoiler:
I have been working on this myself so far, and here is my progress:
- All scripts finished in Pallet Town and Route 1. With every sign, bookshelf, person event, trainers, etc.
- Pallet Town, Route 1, Viridian City, Cerulean City, Vermillion City completely revamped.
- Two brand new areas. Route 2 now leads to route 16, occupying all of that empty land. In between route 2 and route 16 is a whole route and a new town. All of the mapping is professionally done and looks great. Pictures will be available to anyone who joins, and to the public shortly after.
