Here we have Team Chao. Team Chao is an aptly named team I'm trying to start in order to lift my own ambitious hacking project off the ground. However, I also want to lend my skills to others who want them in their hacks. Therefore, all of our hacks can be completed with the help of team work. Currently, my only project is a hack using LeafGreen as it's base, but I'm willing to hack any other GenIII game. Though I have not delved into GenIV/V hacking yet, I could try my damnest to lend my skills to those seeking to develop a GenVI/V hack.

My skills include spriting, music composition/remixing, and artwork/concept or character designing. Those seeking to see my abilities in music can find that on my YouTube Channel (WitchChao).

What my team lacks is proper scripters. Anyone knows without scripts you can't have an awesome hack right? If anyone is interested in scripting for our project(s), please please PLEASE post in this thread or PM me. I also have MSN (use my email, warn me before you add or I'll accidently block you), and Skype (also witchchao). You can add me on Google as well, but you wont know when I'm on and off there; it's more reliable to add me on Skype or MSN.

This hack will take everything you thought you knew about Kanto and turn it upside down! Gary Oak thinks it's about time someone knew the "true story" of what happened in Kanto during that fateful year, and you're dragged along for the ride! He isn't afraid to leave out any of the nitty gritty or darker details of the story either. Why was he in the Pokemon Tower? Silph Co.? Who did he defeat to become the Champion? What happened to his dear Ratticate? It all unfurls before your eyes here.
Planned Features for the hack:

- Script Change: Almost every single bit of text will be changed. New text will be added to some familiar events as well.
- New Events: New events that are specific to the Rival's point of view.
- New Music: Sevii Islands sub-section will have more Johto music to suit the thematic area. Other new themes may pop in in other places too.
- Two Rivals: In addition to Red, the predictable rival of the story, Leaf will also appear to challenge you at various stages of the game.
- Surprise Champion: You'll never guess who they are before you reach them. >:D (Unless you become involved with the hack, lol)
- Pokemon: All 386 Pokemon of GenIII will be accessible in one way or another. No Hacking, Nintendo Events or Trading required.
- Misc. Changes and other minor things.

I'm unsure what you mean by "followers" but thanks for the good luck anyway. :3

If you meant as in more "team members" unfortunately it seems you're the only one that has interest in applying.

If you meant more people interested in seeing the hack reach completion, then there's plenty of them. I have quite a few who have already volunteered themselves to beta test, (They're not on the list of team members because beta testing for major bugs and for their amusement is about all their doing for this hack).

Hey even though i just recently started my hack seies up to the public i think i can help with the over world sprites, or some mapping i used to make my maps an obstickle course anu u might be able to think of some new locations for gary to go to.
