If this looks familiar, it's because I posted this team before. In the 'Nighty, Here I Am!' thread, and I got excellent advice. But now, I have added their EV's, so I need help in those especially.I figured a new thread would be better than bringing up the old one. But if anyone sees any moveset that needs changes, don't be afraid to help.
I copied them over from the thread previously mentioned, to make things eaiser. Nightofshadow's subbestions are in BOLD & ITALIC.
Raichu-Light Clay
Nature: Modest-EV:252 SPEED, 252 SP.ATT, 6 SP.DEFENSE
Thunderbolt
Grass Knot
Nasty Plot
Light Screen/encore
He is meant to set up Light screen for the rest of my team. I also like his speed and sp.att, so he could be a sucessful attacker.
I am not sure about light screen on him, Try encore for when your opponent decides to use a powerup move and to force switches.
Noctowl-Light Clay
Nature: Modest EV: 255 SPEED, 230 SP.DEF, 25 DEF
Hypnosis
Whirlwind
Reflect
Air Slash
She is meant to be my teams Reflect, um, setter-upper. Her Hypnosis and Whirlwind could shut off many teams (and did before). Along with Whirlwind, I also plan to have Stealth Rock support, so it could have some offence as well. I love Noctowl, so I'm not really gonna change her, but suggestions are still welcome.
Nice move list, I hope this works out for you
*Roserade-Black Sludge*
Nature: Timid EV:255 SPEED, 255 SP.ATT
Sludge Bomb
Sunny Day/shadow ball
Solarbeam/Energyball
Weather Ball/Aromatherapy
She is meant to be a sp.attacker, but I am too lazy to breed for Leaf Storm. I think this works well. She will be replaced with Vileplume, with occasional appearances after that.
suggestion here is that you use its stab attacks more. It can really help. Also you can use him as a psuedo-special wall putting 252 ev's into spdef.
*Golem-???*
Nature: Brave EV: 252 DEF, 252 HP, 6 ATT
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Stealth Rock
Explosion
I don't feel too confident for Golem, but I had him ever since I started the game, so he is on my team. When my Larvatar grows up, I will replace Golem with Tyranitar, but for now...
Your move list is fine here as well. Its best if you use him as a wall giving him impish nature with 252 ev's in defense and probably HP
Gyarados-???
Nature: Adamant EV: 255 ATT, 255 SPEED
Ice Fang
Waterfall
Earthquake/Taunt
Dragon Dance
Gyarados is another team original, since she was a Magikarp. She is my, um, Sweeper, is it? Anyway for now, she knows surf instead of EQ, but just until I beat the leauge. I don't feel like switching back & forth.
Taunt is really good for him. Allows you to set up on support pokemon as well as allows you to take out stronger threats. I woudl suggest that you start him instead of Torterra
Torterra-Leftovers/choice band
Nature: Impish EV: 230 HP, 230 DEF, 50 ATT
Wood Hammer
Earthquake
Crunch/Soon to be Stone Edge/Rock Slide
Synthisis/Stone edge
Torterra is my first pokemon. I always have my first with me. And I think I did a damn good job on him too.
This isnt really a good starter. I would probably suggest that you start someone else. Your move list for him is actually pretty good
Now these will replace those with *stars*
Vileplume-Black Sludge
Nature: Modest EV:220 SP.DEF, 220 HP, 70 SP.ATT
Aromatherapy
Energy Ball
Sludge Bomb
Toxic/Stun Spore
Now Vileplume is my favorite pokemon, so he will definetly stay (once he grows from Oddish that is) I know that he could be an effective clergy, so he will be used for that.
Tyranitar-???
Nature: Adamant EV: 252 ATT, 200 DEF, 58 SP.DEF
Stealth Rock/Crunch
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Crunch/Dragon Dance
He will also be replacing Golem. He will have Stealth Rock cause I need someone to set it up. Though I don't know if he should have Crunch or DD
Do not use stealth rock on him. Use something else like crunch for stab
