Hey, people. I've been trying to make a good team and I'm not sure how it will turn out since I'm kinda new to trying to make teams. I was wondering if anyone could give me some suggestions on items, natures, moves, a lead, or anything really. Any kind of constructive criticism or advice. It would be very helpful as I don't want to find out it's not so good after already making it x.x

So here is the team in no particular order:

    Scizor @ Metal Coat
    Ability: Technician
    EV's: 188 Hp / 252 Atk / 60 Spe
    Nature: Adamant
    - Swords Dance
    - Roost
    - Bullet Punch
    - Superpower

    Tyranitar @ Chesto Berry ~LEAD~
    EV's: 252 Hp / 32 Atk / 224 SpD
    Nature: Adamant
    - Rest
    - Payback
    - Stone Edge
    - Stealth Rock

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    EV's: 128 Hp / 252 Def / 128 Spe
    Nature: Calm
    - Baton Pass
    - Aqua Ring
    - Toxic
    - Ice Beam

    Infernape @ Life Orb
    EV's: 4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Nature: Timid
    - U-turn
    - Close Combat
    - Flamethrower
    - Grass Knot

    Skarmory @ Leftovers
    Ability: Keen Eye
    EV's: 252 Hp / 64 Atk / 176 Def / 16 Spe
    Nature: Impish
    - Brave Bird
    - Roost
    - Spikes
    - Whirlwind

    Dragonite @ Life Orb
    EV's: 252 Hp / 52 Atk / 204 Spe
    Nature: Adamant
    - Dragon Dance
    - Dragon Claw
    - Roost
    - ThunderPunch

That's the team and any advice you can give would be really appreciated.

It sounds like a good team. I'd be glad to help with your Gallade. I would give it a Scope Lens to boost it's Critical-Hit Ratio and maybe give it a Careful Nature, or another Nature that boosts it's special defense. Night Slash, Leaf Blade, and Psycho Cut are moves with high critical-hit ratios that you should combine with the Scope Lens to get a lot of critical hits.

    Try:

    Gallade @ Life Orb
    Adamant/Jolly
    252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Hp
    Swords Dance
    Close Combat
    Ice Punch/Close Combat
    Psycho Cut/Night Slash

    Magmortar @ Life Orb/Expert Belt/Leftovers
    Mild
30 Spe IV (if you're really going to try a lot, or you're using shoddybattle simulator)
    84 Atk / 252 SpA / 172 Spe
Lava Plume/Fire Blast/Flamethrower (LP for Burn, FB for power, Ft for accurate with some power)
    Thunderbolt
    Hidden Power Ice
Cross Chop/Earthquake (if you're using it in a lower tier and don't mind not hitting dark-types)

I'm no good with the others, so....I'll leave those.

Thanks for all the help so far. More suggestions and criticism welcomed! Be totally honest, I can take it. If there's not much to criticize (which I doubt) then say something you like about it. Anything that would make me feel better about this team. ^^'''

I saw that you also have a RMT here, so I thought I´d barge in xD

This team needs some help. First, SD Scizor is not a good lead. It doesn´t have SR to set up and it also cannot KO other leads. If you want to stall with Toxic, your lead should help that strategy. Examples are Forretress, Roserade, Skarmory, Swampert and Tyranitar. They all can set up some sort of entry hazards and can come in handy later on, too. Forretress and Roserade are especially good, as they can set up Toxic Spikes.

There we have a Ttar. As I said, if going for stall, Ttar can be used to set up sandstream(which is not 100% needed but helpful). Most stall teams use him as a revenge killer, tough, with Choice Scarf. Also, SR won´t do you any good on a choiced Pokemon, be it band or scarf. Put Earthquake or Fire Punch there.

Vaporeon is definitely a good choice for stalling, but this way, it won´t help you much. Boosting defensive stats can be good, if you are setting up a sweeper, but it won´t really help for stalling, as the longer the battle lasts, the more likely you are to get hit by a crit and then the boosts won´t apply. Wish-Passing is what Vaporeon is famous for and along with that, it can also toxic stall.

Muk is.... unusual. He has plenty of HP and quite good Sdef, so maybe he´s usable. You will just have to try. Watch out, tough, as moves which boost your evasion intentionally are forbidden(that goes for Double Team and Minimize). You´ll need to change that. Swagger is not much of a help either as your opponent still has a 50% chance of attacking with doubled Atk stat.

Now for the last two pokemon, Magmortar and Gallade. You use Vappy, Scizor and Ttar, which are OU, so you´ll have to battle against other OU teams, where both, Gallade and mortar are outclassed. Instead of Magmortar, there are Infernape and Heatran(the latter does great with Choice Scarf) and for Gallade, there are Infernape and Lucario.

To be honest, this team is not too good. But it´s your first try, just keep moving onwards^^ I´ll help you, if you want. Just think clearly about what your team should do. Right now, it looks as if you had no plan at all.

Thanks for the suggestions. I changed some things.. I don't know if it made it any better, but anyway.. hehe ^^''''

I made some changes to Tyranitar to make her a better lead I think. Added rest for some extra late game help there. No idea if it would work. I figure if she's slower Payback would be better than Crunch.

If you know of anything that would be beneficial for the team that could replace Muk I would love to have some advice. (Maybe a tank Gliscor, the Sand stream would make it hard to hit due to Sand Veil along with it's high defense and ability to Roost. Maybe Taunt to. although then I'm seeing a problem with waters for my team with Magmortar's thunderbolt being the only real threat to them. yikes.. I guess I could switch to Vaporeon if a bulky water type would give me trouble, toxic and stall it out... I don't know, I'm just confusing myself now x.x )

I like Magmortar too much to get rid of him, though I'm considering Specs over Scarf and maybe Expert Belt. Gallade could possibly go even though I like to use pokemon that don't get too much play, and I think the addition of Thunder Wave could help out my stall plan. Though I'm thinking of maybe something with good SpA and thunderbolt but nothing bulky comes to mind. My brain hurts x.x

I know you like the move u turn on scizor but with both roost AND swords dance it limits its sweeping options to just bullet punch, i reccomend something like brick break or bug bite just to widen your move pool
also i recommend you make it more bulky, since it has roost you probably want it to live 2 hits

i'd also be careful because none of your team can't really take any thing remotely physically bulky

if you like the style of gallade, i recommend you use a machamp in OU
DD anything can wreck this team, its just too slow, you do have powerful attackers but you won't be able to use them cause you'll be outsped

Yeah muk is breaking the evasion clause =P

you don't band a special attacker( the magmortar), spec's it instead

my suggestion is instead of muk, use skarmory, that way you cant be swept by a scarfcross

Machamp looks pretty good.. Choice Scarf set helps with faster pokemon. Thunder Punch a DD Gyarados. Always nice.

I totally meant specs.. I was.. uh.. just testing you.. yeah. Good Job. x.x

I'll check out Skarmory. I thought Gliscor would be as good but I don't want my team too easily hurt by bulky waters.
