Hey guys, making a pokemon diamond team, so far I have 2 pokes, im just outside of Eterna City.
    They are...
    Monferno(Naive nature)
    Mach Punch(close combat later)
    Ember(Flamethrower hopefully)
    Flame Wheel(slot filler)
    Taunt

    Gyarados(Jolly nature)
    Splash...haha.
    Tackle
    Bite

^If you could recommend a moveset that would be great, as long as there is an ice move in it.

And I am in the process of trying to catch a Bronzor, a Sassy or Relaxed nature.

Any changes, and some suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Monferno's(Infernape) moveset should be similar to this:
    -Flamethrower/Flare Blitz
    -Grass Knot
    -Close Combat
    -Stone Edge/Rock Slide

Infernape works best as a mixed attacker with Flamethrower as your most reliable STAB. Grass Knot can 2HKO Gyarados and other heavy Water, Rock, and Ground types. Close Combat is your best STAB Fighting move. And either Stone Edge for more power or Rock Slide for accuracy. Stone Edge and Rock Slide can also do respectible damage to Gyarados and other flying types like Dragonite.

As far as your Gyarados goes, here's the recommended moveset:
    -Dragon Dance
    -Waterfall
    -Ice Fang
    -Earthquake

Stat-boosting moves like Dragon Dance are extremely helpful, as they can provide for more OHKOs when you need them. Waterfall is STAB, and Ice Fang is the only real Ice move Gyarados knows. Earthquake destroys any Electric Types Gyarados may run into.
