4th Gen Team Help? =|

I've been out of the pokemon games for quite awhile...just got Heart Gold.
Right now im runnin with a Flaafy, Pidgeotto, and Quilava.
Im thinking about trying the 4 fighters, 2 hm slave technique. Is this good? Seems like the four fighters would level up a lot more than having 6 fighters...
And as HM slaves im using bellsprout and togepi, should i change them? Also im trying to use only pokemon native to this region, no trading or anything.

And also is my first 3 fighters a good choice? and who should i pick for a fourth, or should i get more than a fourth? Im guessing a water pokemon....help?

Really, any Pokémon you choose to use in-game would work. I've seen some players complete the game with three Pokémon alone, so four should be a perfectly fine number - if you train to a high enough level to stand up against those who have more in their roster such as the Elite and Champion. However, if you're interested in seeing what others are using for their teams and HM slaves, then you can take a look at these threads here: What's your team? and Slave! These can give you some idea on what to do and help you out a bit. ;)

Other than that, threads like these aren't really allowed nor needed. So...
