Okay, something I've never tried before, a Sandstorm team.

    The Lead
    Hippowdon "The Bulk" @Custap Berry
Ability: Sand Stream - The Pokemon summons a sandstorm in battle.
Careful, 252 Defense, 252 Sp Def
    Stealth Rock
    Roar
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
Role: Hippowdon leads to get the sandstorm going, then attempt to get stealth rock up. He'll then attack depending on his opponent, by the end of the second turn his Custap Berry should've activated, giving him another free hit and hopefully going out in style by taking an opponent down with him.

    The Defense
    Gliscor "Impale" @Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil - Boosts the Pokemon's evasion in a sandstorm.
    Impish, 252 HP, 252 Defense
Earthquake / Stone Edge (advice here please.)
    Toxic
    Roost
    Stealth Rock
Role: My main defense wall, Toxic on his first turn in, then stall. Stealth Rock is there incase Hippowdon takes a taunting and can't set it up. I have Earthquake incase a Steel-type comes in and I can't use Toxic on it. Sandstorm gives it a 20% evasion chance thanks to the Sand Veil ability.

    The Special Defense
    Snorlax "Poopface" @Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat - Raises resistance to Fire and Ice-type moves.
Adamant, 252 Atk, 252 Sp Def
    Body Slam
    Crunch
    Fire Punch
    Earthquake
Role: Snorlax is one of my two Physical attackers, but he's my most Specially bulky Pokemon in the defenses, so he's usually a switch-in on any Special Attackers, especially Fire and Ice due to Thick Fat ability. Crunch, Earthquake and Fire Punch in unison give pretty good type coverage, and Body Slam is for the ParaHax chance on any sweepers or Dragon Dancers he might come across.

    The Calm One
    Jirachi "Jirree" @Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace - Boosts the likelihood of added effects appearing.
    Timid, 252 HP, 252 Speed
    Protect
    Calm Mind
    Psychic
    Thunderbolt
Role: Jirachi is a key member of my team, if it's given a chance to set-up Calm Mind, he'll take it regardless of the consequences. Leftovers and 404 HP means he can take some beating from Special Attackers once Calm Mind is up. His speed also allows him to attempt a sweep once he's Calm Mind'ed a few times.

    The Emperor
    Empoleon "Pingu" @Life Orb
Ability: Torrent - Powers up Water-type moves in a pinch.
Modest, 252 Sp Atk, 252 Speed
    Agility
    Ice Beam
    Grass Knot
    Surf
Role: My main Special Sweeper. Agility on turn one and then proceed to sweep with any of the special attacks listed. Life Orb helps it get down to Torrent range, boosting Surf by 50%.

    The Late Great
    Scizor "Red Mist" @Muscle Band
Ability: Technician - Powers up the Pokemon's weaker moves.
    Adamant, 252 Attack, 252 Speed
    Swords Dance
    Bullet Punch
    Aerial Ace
    Brick Break
Role: This late-game sweeper is not one you want to give a chance to use Swords Dance. Aerial Ace gives coverage against Machamp that tries to Dynamicpunch all over Scizor's face. Bullet Punch for priority STAB, and Brick Break for Blissey and anything else that threatens Scizor, which less face it, isn't much.

    Let the dissappointment begin. :D

    Okay let's get this started:

    HIPPOWDON

"Wow, Hippowdon, what a big mouth you have!"
"The better to eat with", said Hippowdon.
"Wow, Hippowdon, what big nostrils you have!"
"The better to smell with", said Hippowdon.
"Wow, Hippowdon, what a terrible moveset you have!"
"The better to...oh wait, I guess it isn't good for anything!"

That's right, your Hippowdon's moveset sucks, starting with its EVs. Maxing out Def and Sp. Def? But why, when you will take less damage if you max out your HP and split the rest of your EVs between Def and Sp. Def?

The strategy is also terrible. How do you know your opponent will even attack Hippowdon? A good opponent is more likely to use non-offensive moves like Taunt, Sleep Powder, or Trick to mess Hippowdon up which also messes your entire strategy up.

A good Hippowdon is meant to Defend, not Attack. It focuses on using Stealth Rock, Roar, and Slack Off 90% of the time.

    GLISCOR

It's completely pointless to have 2 Stealth Rockers on the same team. You're just wasting space. Replace with Taunt.

    Your EVs are also bad.
252 HP is fine, but 252 Defense is unneeded. What Gliscor really needs is Speed EVs. 216 Speed EVs ensures you will outspeed Adamant Lucario so that it won't be able to Ice Punch you to death.

    SNORLAX

Offensive Snorlax won't work on this team. This team is defensive and relies on weakening opponents with residual damage to give your sweepers an easier time to set up. Simply attacking with brute force won't work. Seeing as how Status can mess your team up, make Snorlax a Rest Talker.

    Snorlax @Leftovers
    Thick Fat
    Careful Nature
    244 HP / 28 Def / 236 SDef

    -Body Slam
    -Fire Punch/Crunch
    -Rest
    -Sleep Talk

    JIRACHI

Why is Protect there? Protect isn't going to help you set up. Replace with Substitute. Sub blocks status so you can't be paralyzed or anything when Calm Mind.

Guess what? That's right, your EVs are bad again!
252 HP is fine so that Blissey can't break your Subs with 1 Seismic Toss. 216 Speed is all you need to outspeed Jolly Gliscor. Gliscor is the fastest non-Scarfed OU Ground-type (Flygon doesn't count since it's usually Scarfed). Put the rest in Sp. Attack.

    SCIZOR

Choice Band Scizor is almost always better than Swords Dance Scizor. The reason is that Swords Dance Scizor just can't beat Heatran, Zapdos, or Scarf Magnezone. All three are extremely common, all three are faster, and all three easily OHKO Scizor with a Fire Attack (Fire Blast, Heat Wave, and Hidden Power Fire respectively). Meanwhile, Choice Band Scizor can simply use U-Turn to escape and switch to a counter, letting you gain an upper hand no matter what the opponent does.

Muscle Band and Wise Glasses should never be used because a 10% Attack boost is way too small and barely makes a difference most of the time.

Finally, Scizor should never use Aerial Ace even if it gets a Technician boost. First of all, Machamp is not a Scizor counter so you won't see it switching in like Heatran or Magnezone will. Secondly, a Flying attack provides no type coverage against the Pokemon Scizor has trouble with.

    Choice Band Scizor:

    Scizor @Choice Band
    Adamant Nature
    Technician
    248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd

    -Bullet Punch
    -U-Turn
    -Superpower
    -Pursuit

One thing that destroys your team is Mixed Infernape. With Close Combat, Fire Blast, Grass Knot, and HP Ice, it beats everything on your team all by itself. Having a reliable Water type can be good for your team.

    Replace Empoleon with:

    Vaporeon @Leftovers
    Bold Nature
    188 HP / 252 Def / 68 Spd

    -Surf
    -HP Electric/Ice Beam
    -Wish
    -Protect

Vaporeon gives you a reliable Infernape (and Gyarados) counter, Wish support for your teammates, and a Water immunity.

For an OU Sandstorm team, perhaps you can try Tyrannitar instead of Snorlax. It still has a decent Sp.Def due to the x1.5 boost for rock types, and it provides a safety measure in case Hippowdon is taken down and another weather pokemon goes in. Or even if Hippowdon is forced out and another weather is set up. Afterall, Rain dance can be an annoyance if they activate it right after your sandstorm goes up.
