Why am I making this hack?

I'm making this rom hack because ever since I accidentally stumbled upon pokemon light platinum I knew I always wanted to make my own game. I've been playing pokemon since Diamond so I'm a bit of a late bloomer to pokemon. I've always thought of awesome ideas to add to pokemon that I knew no one else would add to there rom so why not try do it myself. Pokemon has always been close to my heart and I really think I could do something special with it.

Story

Spoiler:

You're a boy/girl who lives in a small town with your mother, you have lived here all your life you've learnt a lot about pokemon from the professor who lives in the same town as you and he had promised you that when you turn 14 you could have your own starter, now the time has come for you to choose one of the starter pokemon and raise it and collect all 8 badges and beat the pokemon league. Along your journey you meet a shy cocky boy named brad who is also set out to become the league champion. Thought the region you run into a evil gang named team slag led by Coen who is a psychic. Coen tells you about his visions of ancient times of him see how Primal Groudon had the world on the edge of destruction before Primal Kyogre stopped Groudon and how Coen is stealing all the mega stones from around the region to power a machine that will give him the power to bring primal Groudon back and create a new world order where only Coen and his goons will rule, your job is to capture primal kyogre and stop Coens evil plans.
