Hey there, I'm UltraXTheMagmaDrapion, or you can call me Ultra. On other forums or sites, I am mostly known as UltraX7 however. Anyway, I would like to start a hacking team and I need help. I have plans for an extensive and very in-depth series of hacks named Pokemon Peridot Realm. It covers depth of story and emotion (which I think I can speak for many here, is quite lacking in the official games) and creative/unique ideas.
The games span many concepts, but in the end all link to the one concept: For every single move each individual atom could make, there is a separate dimension for it. They are all based in different dimensions in the same realm however. Though not greatly delved into, the idea of realms is a separation between the different types of dimensions, their growth trees and differences/similarities. So Peridot Realm is one realm. But with an infinite and growing amount of dimensions, like other realms.
For the reason I should think are obvious, other hacker's games are based in other realms. But this thread is for the team making the games, not the games themselves. I need a team because I have some excellent ideas that I think are like nothing ever before, but I can't carry them out alone. I need to work with people who like my ideas too, and can help me in the areas I cannot do myself. i am attempting to learn how to do the other areas, but I am struggling and so that's another reason I need people who CAN do those things. Peridot Realm has great potential, and so it requires those with potential to create it to it's potential.
Please do note, we would not ONLY develop Peridot Realm hacks. We would make other hacks too! (Essentially, they would be in another realm. But these other games may or may not acknowledge the idea of realms at all). But a big thing I want to achieve in all my hacks, is emotion. Depth, I want to feel something. Kingdom Hearts, a crossover series featuring Disney and Final Fantasy by Square Enix, changed me as a person. It was so deep, so complex, so emotional. It has strongly influenced who I am. I want a similar effect from my hacks.
But in case I'm scaring you, let's move on. I can do basic mapping. But I desperately need scripters, spriters, tilers, and someone who can insert music. An example of the people I need can be seen here. In this post, is the first and foremost game I plan to work on. Most of the things listed in the needed section are going to be in need for about all of my projects.
