3rd Gen Team rocket team?

Recently i've been wondering how it would be if i decided to play through fire red/leafgreen/emerald or ruby with an all team rocket pokemon team? (Pretty much just all generic team rocket pokemon...) ratatata(raticate)grimer(muk)koffing(weezing)ekans(arbok)meowth(persian)... all im wondering is would this be extremely hard to do? i was thinking it would be a fun change to just playing with a team like squirtle pikachu pidgey geodude growlithe alakazam, oh and to anyone who looks at this post: please don't flame and just share your honest opinions please. Oh and one last thing... if you see that ive forgot any generic team rocket pokemon just kindly let me know. Thanks!

To tell you the truth, you can use the crappiest Pokemon to beat the game (i.e. I can use just a Charmander to beat the entire game), so your 'All Generic Team Rocket Team' is fine as long as you have standard, or good, movesets to accomplish the task.

But like JD said - ingame, you can win with pretty much any team.

oh yeah i forgot about zubat. Thanks. Okay well im gonna restart my game and try now lol, it kinda sucks at the same time cause im losing my old file with a tyranitar charizard and like 200 other guys. With a bunch of legendarys... Ahhh whatever its alright theres no point of keeping an old file if im not gonna use it. And its true that i can't evolve golbat until i get the national dex?

i'll keep this thread as a progression thread and ill mention all about whats happening while im playing

You could easily win with this Pokemon team
as long as you train them alot and give them a good moveset
it might help to EV your pokemon after you beat the 8th Gym Leader

Here are the generic team rocket ones:
Ratata, grimer, koffing, zubat, ekans
meowth i really wouldn't consider it a "generic" team rocket pokemon but you could probably count that

You should make a thread like this like the Team Rocket Challenge instead of the generic monotype challenges
