From the redwood forests of Hoenn, to the SInging Mountains of Sinnoh, be a part of possibly the BIGGEST Pokemon Hack Ever!!! Join Team Rockstar and help us on our World tour of Pokemon.
Team Rockstar is currently working on the project,
working title: Pokemon World Tour
Play as Ash's Father, or Gary's Mom, from outside of Petalburg city in Hoenn many years ago. You penpal lives in Sinnoh working as an assitant to Professor Oak in the Sinnoh Pokemon Lab. You are finally old enough to take the journey to visit your penpal for the first time. Before you leave you are given a choice of three pokemon. A Spiky Leaf Pokemon, by the local professor, a Fiery Tooth Pokemon by your Penpal, and a Water Neck Pokemon by your mother. After choosing one of them, you are finally to leave town.
Along your journey you will see many great things. In Cianwood, you might visit the Safari Zone. In Ecruteak, you will see the Burning Tower Festival. In Alto Mare, you might get the chance to befriend Latios/Latias and protect them from members of a newly formed Team Rocket. In Shamouti Island, you will take part in the Annual Festival of Legends and if you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of the Beast of the Sea. You'll encounter Team Rocket Once again, performing experiments on Mew and cloning Mewtwo.
Along the way you will collect gym badges and get the chance to challenge the Elite Four.
After you become Champion, you must once again face Team Rocket. This time they are attacking Cerulean Cave trying oncde again to capture Mewtwo, and digging a tunnel to Sinnoh in order to illegally market Sinnoh Pokemon. And it comes close too. All you have to do is ROCK SMASH some debris and you emerge at Lake Verity in Sinnoh. Finally you reach the Sinnoh Pokemon Lab and meet your penpal for the first time, but it will certainty not the last.
Progress:
I have been working on the maps a lot currently and am just about done with the general shape of things. However that doesn't mean its perfect. I feel it would be wise to have another mapper to check my work and help out with what they can. I hae no idea how to make entirely new tiles, so i used all tilesets that came with FireRed.
I also have no practical scripting experience. I can create a basic Text, but not that much else. This is a Major Hack that needs a scripter who knows what they're doing.
