Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm having a weird glitch happen with the forum. It's constantly saying I have a new notification in my VM's, but I've already checked. I even got a new VM since, it increased to two, checked them, and it's still stuck at one.

Not really the biggest problem in the world, just a slight annoyance. Was wondering if anyone knows a fix?

I think there was a solution... I forget whether it was VMing yourself or PMing yourself... Something like that, I'm sure.

Delete that vm and the notification should go away. Sadly you lose the vm though. :(

I had a similar problem with a PM. I deleted it and it worked but it was weird...

I mean, it said that there was a notification, but there were no new PMs. When I checked the list, it showed a PM dated Jan 1970, and there was no link to open the PM. I wondered whether someone actually did send me a PM that I couldn't open?

vBulletin can't go back further than January 1970, so... in other words, having that date is just a glitch, and no, nobody sent it to you, it just... sometimes happens to users. You can't open it either because there's no content inside. Just delete it next time, like you did, and forget about it :)

    I see.
Thanks for clearing it up :)
